Everything perfect: from the hospitality and professionalism of Emiliano, the chef who manages to maintain the taste and flavors of traditional cuisine with a touch of research and innovation. Refined dishes produced with excellent raw materials. More than rich menu, varied from starters to desserts. The dining room staff were very kind, helpful and well organised. The location is immersed in an enchanting landscape, recognized by UNESCO: the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines. Vote 10. Highly recommended!

I've been going there for years and I can't say enough good things about it. Always good food, simple environment and very welcoming staff. Good quality/price ratio.

Nice restaurant, run by kind and professional people. Good food and good mushrooms, very fair bill! The only flaw is it's a little far away but it's worth it... I definitely recommend it.

Ogni tanto con la mia famiglia o con amici ci concediamo un pranzo o una cena in questo locale. Per me il servizio è impeccabile, gentilezza e professionalità legati ad una cucina che per mio gusto e anche per quello dei miei familiari è veramente ottima. Come da titolo, una garanzia.

Menù dai sapori molto buoni tra cui primi di tortelli ai carciofi con spec e noci, mezze lune con ricotta e pecorino in salsa di tartufo, crepes ai funghi. Secondi di carne ottimi. Ottimi dolci. Che dire. Qualità difficilmente raggiungibile in altre proposte dell'appennino reggiano.

La Locanda

01/12/2024: Local on the first hills of Reggio, just above Albinea. Not the usual Emilian "matrimonial" environments but an old converted brick stable. Excellent cuisine, attentive to the season, with an eye to local traditions but not simply anchored to them. Pleasantly polite but not falsely obsequious service. The only small sore point is the acoustics of the venue which deserve some more attention, prices absolutely adequate for the general quality. We will certainly return.
15/11/2024: I went 3 nights in a row I tried the first courses, all with strictly homemade pasta typical appetizers and finally a special steak with grilled vegetables, all superb interesting wine selection you can sense a careful selection of raw materials and excellent culinary skills. correct and convenient prices a warm greeting to Mrs. Maitre and to the legendary Chef two beautiful people who hosted us like family.
