‏This place is a true hidden gem! We were looking to escape the crowds around Lake Como and stumbled upon this incredible farm near Lake Mezzola — a quieter, northern extension of Lake Como. The moment we arrived, we were struck by the peacefulness and natural beauty. The air is crisp, the views are stunning, and the farm itself is full of charm. ‏The farm produces its own honey, grappa, and blueberry jam, and is home to goats, horses, and two friendly dogs — Nocci and Leopoldo — who made our stay even more delightful. There’s also a lovely sandy beach just down the road, and you can rent bikes or a canoe to explore the lake. ‏The room was simple but clean and cozy, and the restaurant on site was a highlight. Each day the chef creates different dishes, and breakfast was equally delicious. A special shoutout to the sweet British waitress (sorry we didn’t catch your name) who made us feel so welcome. ‏We’re in our late 20s and were initially a bit worried the place might be too quiet, but it ended up being the perfect peaceful getaway. Plus, it’s easy to reach the bigger Lake Como towns for a day trip. We also loved that the atmosphere was so authentic — all the other guests were Italian families or couples, and there wasn’t a tourist in sight. ‏One of the most amazing surprises was discovering that the trailhead to the secluded alpine village of Codera starts just nearby in the town of Novate Mezzola. This hike was unforgettable — Codera is the last alpine town in the region still inhabited (by four people!) and only accessible on foot. ‏If the weather turns rainy, you can also take a scenic 1.5-hour drive to San Pellegrino Terme for a spa day. ‏Last but not least, Luca, the host, has such a warm heart and welcoming smile — we felt completely at home during our stay. Thank you, Luca! ‏10/10 experience. Hope to return one day!

Wonderfully panoramic location, in the middle of the mountains. Very kind manager, fixed menu: many excellent things for €30/person. Two types of pizziccheri, two meat dishes with baked potatoes, all excellent. Eating at sunset with the mountains around and the sound of a fountain was splendid. I do not rate the rooms, but the structure from the outside is very nice. I only rate the dinner.

We stopped by chance for dinner during the week. Cute farmhouse, surrounded by nature. Decent food, good quality but without anything exceptional. The biggest flaw is the lack of indications in the prices. It is acceptable that there is no paper menu, but at least the prices of the various fixed menus available must be indicated.

Review for the restaurant. You get there from a private road that isn't exactly convenient, once you arrive there is an expanse of beautiful greenery. The structure inside is (in my opinion) a little sad, but if you manage to get a table outside you won't regret it. There is no à la carte menu. Menu of the day: mixed cold cuts (which we didn't take) 2 first courses: pizzoccheri from Valtellina and gnocchi from Valchiavenna; 2 seconds: ribs with potatoes and braised beef, all very good indeed. To carry out some nature trails in the Chiavenna area we booked this magnificent place managed by the super Mr. Gianni and his son Luca, very kind and passionate. The rooms, in addition to being clean and spacious, are surrounded by greenery with the possibility of meditating at your leisure between the woods and the mountains, a stone's throw from the lake, a 10-minute walk away. The highlight is dinner, I felt like I was at a family lunch with typical homemade delicacies (truly typical products such as handmade pizzoccheri) in generous portions, and if someone from Puglia says so.... Per svolgere alcuni percorsi naturalisti in zona Chiavenna abbiamo prenotato questo magnifico posto gestito dal Super Signor Gianni e Suo Figlio Luca, Gentilissimi ed Appassionati. Le stanze oltre ad essere pulite e spaziose sono immerse nel verde con possibilità di meditare a proprio piacimento tra il bosco e la montagna a due passi dal lago raggiungibile a 10 minuti a piedi. Il pezzo forte è la cena, mi sono sentito ad un pranzo in famiglia con bontà tipiche fatte in casa (prodotti realmente tipici come per esempio i pizzoccheri fatti a mano) in porzioni Generose, e se lo dice un pugliese....
