We wanted to visit the museum but it was closed due to strike but journey was not wasted as came across this gem of a restaurant. All veg grown here and the staff explained the dishes. We couldn’t make up our minds as all sounded lovely so had 4 different main courses and shared them. I loved the simple interiors and ambience they have created. Def worth a visit and especially good if on way to or from the airport as close by

Everything was delicious. We had the tagliatelle with Tuscan ragù (manxo and cinta) and the duck in dolceforte. The last dish had dark chocolate, which seemed strange to us, but it was fabulous!

One of the best restaurants of our stay in Tuscany. It's located in the parking lot of the Natural History Museum of Pisa, which is also a wonderful little-known gem. This restaurant offers entirely homemade dishes with produce from the garden. It's delicious, a delight for the taste buds. The welcome is warm, as if we were family or friends. This moment was one of the best of our vacation. 🥰

We decided to have lunch here after visiting the Natural History Museum in Calci. The farmhouse is surrounded by greenery, and the main dining room is outside, under a welcoming and simply furnished veranda, where you can enjoy the tranquility of the countryside. The menu offers traditional dishes and varies depending on what's available from the garden. The portions are decent and excellent value. The dishes are very tasty; we tried the mixed platter, the tagliatelle with meat sauce, and the slow-cooked egg with gazpacho and onion. The extra virgin olive oil is homemade, and everything was delicious, even the desserts, which are homemade. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and we had a wonderful time. We recommend booking because the food is truly excellent, but there aren't many seats and it's the only restaurant within walking distance of the Certosa.

Authentic and powerful aromas, flavors, and scents. We were truly moved when we ate those courgettes...they were exactly like the ones my grandmother used to cook for me when I was little!

A wonderful surprise opposite the Certosa di Calci, with carefully prepared dishes using local ingredients and friendly, informal service. The duck with a sweet and sour sauce was exceptional.

I had lunch at this beautiful restaurant, beautifully decorated and cared for with the passion of those who love their craft... homemade casarecce with organic Senatore Cappelli wheat, topped with lemon balm, almond, and pecorino pesto... yum... but... if this first course wasn't enough to make you want to come and try everything else... I'll just add that the restaurant is just a few meters from the wonderful Certosa di Calci!!! Need I say more???

Opposite the Certosa di Calci. It also has a large and pleasant outdoor area. Good food. Prices are a bit high, in my opinion.

We visited here during our trip to Italy and really enjoyed this beautiful restaurant. We were able to make a reservation that same day without any problems. On a warm summer day, we sat in the idyllic garden and immediately felt at home. The two owners who served us were able to converse with us easily in English. Our meal was consistently delicious. There were four of us, each ordering a primo, followed by two secondi. We tried dishes we'd never eaten before. It was truly incredibly delicious and a special recommendation for vegetarians. You can clearly feel how much love and care went into each dish. Everything was freshly prepared, creatively arranged, and served with a lot of heart. For dessert, we had a wonderful chocolate cake with jam and a moist orange cake. Both were incredibly delicious and a perfect end to our meal. We also got to try a homemade digestif, which was also excellent. Would we come again? Absolutely, one hundred percent.

Giornata speciale in famiglia, ambiente con calore familiare, pietanze più che speciali, sono stati cosi gentili da trovate un ottima soluzione per mia moglie che è allergica al betacarotene, mio figlio ha apprezzato molto la vostra pasta fatta in casa!
