5 star restaurant Every time I go to Calabria I pop into this magnificent place surrounded by greenery. All dishes are excellent, local products cooked with skill. Kind and courteous owner. The only problem is that you can't eat everything, because the dishes are many and plentiful. At the end of the meal the last surprise was the bill, so modest that the first few times I thought there was a mistake! Highly recommended!!!!

5 stars are very few. I have enjoyed Agostino's wonderful cuisine for over 30 years. Anyone who writes otherwise should only be ashamed. Not to mention the location...spectacular. Agostino makes you feel at home. ♥️

I had the pleasure of dining in a restaurant in San Nicola Arcella, Calabria, and I must say that it was an unforgettable gastronomic experience. From tuna to swordfish, every dish was impeccably cooked. The fish was very fresh, cooked to perfection and accompanied by flavors that enhanced its goodness without ever covering it. The tuna was tender and juicy, with a light crust that made it crunchy on the outside, while the swordfish had a delicate texture and melted in your mouth. Every bite was an explosion of flavor that made me fully appreciate the qualities of the fish from this region. The atmosphere of the restaurant is welcoming, with attentive and friendly service that makes you immediately feel at home. If you are a fish lover and you are in the area, you cannot miss stopping here: truly exceptional quality and flavours!

06/01/2025: Locale al centro della città, facilmente raggiungibile a piedi. Arredamento forse un po' datato ma offerta ricca e di buona qualità. Personale gentile e disponibile. Ottimi gli antipasti di carne ed i premi. Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo
28/10/2024: In ogni città c'è un ristorante come il vicoletto. Il massimo. Massima esperienza, qualità, cortesia, rapporto qualità - prezzo. Ma per provare cose nuove giri, giri, e quasi ti dimentichi che esista. Poi, finalmente, ti ricapita di tornarci e ti chiedi: ma quanto tempo ho perso a girare e girare.... Abbiamo preso gnocchi alla sorrentina, tesi e con sugo strepitoso; pasta fresca, formato e cottura perfetti, alla Silana con porcini e salsiccia 😍; io, che sono nato e cresciuto in riva al mare, ho azzardato: linguine al nero di seppia...nel capoluogo silano...perfette. E quando abbiamo chiesto due calici di vino, il bianco l'hanno servito nel bicchiere gelato: mi pareva di stare in Grecia. E la macedonia? Insomma, sono pentito. Mancavo da un po' ma tornerò presto e ritornerò ancora prima. E lasciatele ste' mance invece di buttare i soldi altrove!
