27/10/2023: A great spot for a quick rest after the vigorous hike up from Varenna, the Castle Restaurant at the entrance to the Castle Vezio, Lake Como, is well-run, offers a range of dishes and snacks, and has great espresso. The staff are all very helpful and courteous. Recommend pausing in the shade of chestnut trees before and after your castle visit. Enjoy.
