SUPER POSITIVE EXPERIENCE!!! I'll start by saying they have several packages available... We did the Excursion + Lunch + Museum. (All inclusive) We were there last Sunday, arriving around 10:00 am (after a 2.5-hour journey from southern Sardinia). They also have a bar, so we were able to have coffee. The excursion was scheduled for 10:30 am. Mr. Daniele began with a presentation of the company (family-run) and their typical products. We followed Mr. Daniele and Martina along a trail down the valley, about 4 km long (the first 2 km downhill and then the last 2 km uphill for the return). You may encounter fallow deer, red deer, and mouflon. I recommend hiking shoes, which are more suitable for the type of terrain. During the descent, we stopped several times for their explanations about the flora and fauna (super interesting). Once we got down, we had our first encounters with deer and fallow deer (they provided us with some food to feed the animals). My 9-year-old son (very happy) A wonderful experience!!! The animals are accustomed to it and eat directly from our hands, in a delicate way. We returned directly to the facility and after a short bathroom break... They seated us for lunch. The beautiful room with large windows offers stunning views of the landscape. FOOD, What can I say, everything was excellent!!! Good dishes, well seasoned and beautifully served. After the appetizers, we were already full... followed by two first courses, the suckling pig, dips, and of course, a delicious Seadas. SERVICE Super!!! The girls were very helpful and kind. Downstairs at the bar, they offered us a good coffee and Amaro. We waited for Martina, our guide, to visit their small museum, which was so cute (with about 150 species of stuffed animals) typical of the Gennargentu. It was an experience we will NEVER forget!!! Because it's NOT your average Agriturismo! Congratulations to the whole family ❤️ Because from the outside you can't see it... but behind it all there's a lot of work!!! A family business that has been passed down for generations and is always improving!!!! I have one criticism... I had a hard time booking (I tried last year too, but it was always full or they didn't answer (because they were busy with work). But after visiting this enchanting place!!!! I'm happy I didn't give up... and it even made the long drive worth it. Congratulations to the whole family ❤️

Everything was perfect! Excellent food, beautiful setting, wonderful welcome and landscape.

An oasis of relaxation. The rooms are clean and simple. The heated pool is open from morning until evening. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. This excursion is a must for both children and adults. As the owner emphasizes, a full hike through the woods requires proper equipment and training, but the trail to the deer watering hole is accessible to everyone. Lunch is excellent, featuring farm-fresh products. A special mention goes to the breakfast: sweet and savory, all homemade, including yogurt, cakes, cured meats, and cheeses. Top!

A wonderful group experience in a magnificent location just a few kilometers from Fonni. The owner and his daughters were excellently knowledgeable about the local wildlife and Sardinian history. The lunch was excellent and plentiful, featuring a wide variety of traditional dishes. We will definitely be back for a more in-depth excursion. Congratulations!

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of visiting the enchanting Parco Donnortei farmhouse, nestled in the evocative mountain and woodland landscape of Fonni. After an engaging introduction by our host and guide, we ventured into the private nature reserve: a roughly 4 km hike (downhill on the way there and uphill on the way back—please check with your guide in advance if you have mobility issues). The hike provided us with magical moments of contact with deer and fallow deer, free in their habitat, in an enveloping and rejuvenating silence. Upon returning, we refueled with a generous and delicious lunch, where each dish showcased the authentic flavors of local tradition. To crown the day, we visited the taxidermy museum: a surprising experience, made even more interesting by the guide's passionate explanations, who taught us interesting facts about the local animals. Highly recommended.

We went to Donnortei Park to see deer, fallow deer, and mouflons and admire the landscape. We were greeted with an interesting story about the park's origins and its animals. We hiked with great detail from the owner and other guides, who explained the history of the land, its flora, and its wildlife. Finally, we reached the heart of the park where the deer awaited us (unfortunately, we didn't see any deer) and we were able to feed them. Finally, we returned to the restaurant and ate a delicious and hearty lunch! I recommend it, although it's not suitable for younger children, who unfortunately disturbed the tranquility of the forest and the hike (children as young as a few months and up to 4/5 years old cried and complained constantly). Just as pets that could disturb the animals are (rightly) not allowed, there should be an age limit for the hike (at least 9/10 years old). Otherwise, everything else was magical and perfect.
