Lovely place, kind and friendly people. Excellent value for money. It's all a bit dated. We had the 5-person cottage. The sofa bed isn't suitable for two people, and the other beds weren't great, but they were okay. It's clean and tidy. However, you are woken up early in the morning by De Haan. Unfortunately, there's no oven, as mentioned. It's a microwave.

03/01/2026: Excellent, very characteristic little restaurant just off the lively medieval streets of Cortona. The entrance is just across from the theater tavern, with a small window display. The decor is typical of village taverns, with a wide selection of wines and an à la carte menu featuring a few dishes, all typical of the area. The pici, Chianina beef tartare, and the lemon cake of the day are excellent. The service from the two young staff is friendly, and the chef is excellent. The restrooms and restaurant are very clean. Unfortunately, they don't take reservations (not even from people they know). Arrive just before the standard lunch and dinner times.
06/10/2025: We stumbled upon this small restaurant by chance during a visit to Cortona. The ambiance and service were fine. What was a bit disconcerting were the small portions and the high prices. Each of us had a small piece of lasagna (palm-sized, small hands) and a small beer and a Coke. We spent €30, but we weren't really full. A shame.

30/07/2025: We offered our son a cooking class, and we all attended. It was an excellent experience! We received such warm welcome, advice, and support. The class was perfect, and the meal was delicious! The wine was good and the price was more than reasonable! The two owners are lovely... And the setting is magnificent! I highly recommend this experience! Thank you so much!!!

Traveling with our 18-month-old and pregnant wife can sometimes make dining out a bit tricky, but the staff here went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They were kind, accommodating, and genuinely thoughtful — making space for us, engaging warmly with our toddler, and ensuring everything was just right. The food and drinks were equally amazing — beautifully prepared, fresh, and full of flavor. You can tell this place is run with heart. It’s rare to find a spot that makes you feel like family while serving such high-quality offerings. Don’t miss it — especially if you’re looking for somewhere warm, stylish, and family-friendly. Grazie mille — you made our day!
