Nuraghe Murtarba is a magical place. Franca, Massimiliano, and Vincenzo will welcome you with open arms; people with huge hearts. If you plan to stay overnight, prepare to admire a "natural ceiling" of stars accompanied by the sound of goat bells. If you're just stopping by for dinner or lunch, come with an empty stomach to enjoy excellent Sardinian specialties made entirely in-house with the farm's own produce. From cheeses and cured meats to culurgiones (a type of ravioli filled with ravioli), roasts, vegetables, and desserts, you won't be disappointed.

It's an experience. It's not a hotel or anything like that. You feel welcomed into their home. The atmosphere is familiar and welcoming. The food is traditional, made with homemade products, all excellent and well-prepared. The rooms are average and well-organized; there's no TV. I recommend having a kettle in the room, at least for the winter; it would make it even more welcoming, although any requests for something to drink would be welcomed and accommodated. We're in the open countryside, so flies and a few insects are normal; you have to consider where you are, especially regarding water and electricity use. There are several animals to admire, there's parking, and a lake nearby. The road to get there is a bit bumpy, but it's well-marked, so it's easy to find. The value for money is impeccable, I'd say.

A beautiful farmhouse nestled in the lush greenery of Sardinia's typical countryside. We stayed for three nights, practically at the home of a family who welcomes you as if you were long-time friends. They're always friendly and available to accommodate our requests, trying to fit them into their hectic daily routines. You can experience things that city dwellers rarely get. From morning until evening, you can follow the stages of a typical day and then savor the produce right at the table... The rooms are welcoming and spacious, and there's deliberately no television, a decision I fully support given the location... The food is nothing short of succulent, expertly prepared by Franca, always present and available, assisted by her tireless and hard-working husband Massimiliano. I'd like to thank everyone for the pleasant stay, especially Mr. Vincenzo, who took the time to let us taste his freshly milked milk in the morning and to teach me how to cook porceddu (pork suckling pig) according to Sardinian tradition. I strongly recommend letting me know in advance if you plan to bring your furry friends.

Enchanting place, hospitality, professionalism, top-quality home-made food, all gluten-free for a celiac like me, which isn't a given; in fact, I often struggle to find places that guarantee gluten-free options. Everything was perfect, thank you Franca and thank you to your entire wonderful family. We'll definitely be back ❤️❤️

At Agriturismo Murtarba, we were warmly welcomed by Franca's family and their staff. It's a true family-run agriturismo: what's served at the table is exactly what they prepare and eat, with authentic, home-grown products. You immediately feel at home. The property is immersed in nature, surrounded by their animals, and just steps away is Lake Santa Lucia, perfect for a relaxing stroll. An authentic and truly special experience. The property also has rooms for overnight stays, and we'll definitely try them next time. We can't wait to visit you again. Thank you so much for your hospitality and good food. We ate at this agriturismo for lunch, and everything was excellent. The service was impeccable, and the food was delicious. From the appetizers to the dessert, there wasn't a thing we didn't like. The service was also excellent and fast, truly perfect. We'll definitely be back.

Posto bellissimo gestito da Franca, gentilissima e attenta a tutto. Abbiamo pernottato per una notte in una bella camera confortevole e Franca ci ha invitato nella sua cucina anche se non era giorno di apertura: esperienza da agriturismo Sardo top! Il tutto in un quadro affascinante di campagna brulla e autentica. Consigliato veramente!
