I had lunch here with my family on Easter Monday, fixed menu, fast and attentive service, nice restaurant inside a farm. Alas, I forgot to take a photo of all the dishes, but it was all delicious! I recommend it

Very good culinary experience at the end of the tourist visit to the artistic alleys of Forenza. We start off well right from the booking, when we are asked about the possible presence of intolerances. Since this is the restaurant of a farm it is possible to taste "zero centimeter" products and in fact we gladly accept the fixed menu consisting of starter, first course, second course and dessert. As a Tuscan I love meat, here you are spoiled for choice (lamb, beef, pork) and importance is not given only to noble cuts; I am extremely pleased to discover lamb liver (spectacular!) and finally see tripe again in the restaurant (very delicate and tasty), in the kitchen importance is also given to details (a simple bruschetta becomes an apotheosis of aromas when the garlic and oregano which does not come from the supermarket is used).
The appetizers are completed with sausages in sauce (superlative fennel), the inevitable pecorino, capocollo and salami, vegetables, finishing with broad beans and chicory with a crusco pepper that "sounds" (cracks) even after the litmus test (the humid heat some broad beans and chicory should have softened the pepper in a few minutes, but no, when it is fried well it resists undaunted like a good Lucanian!).
Tested even with ingredients that are not self-produced (the cod used to fill the ravioli), the test passed!
In over 40 years here I finally find a grilled lamb that doesn't give me reflux, it's about time!
The dessert is presented as simple (sponge cake, mascarpone, mandarin, pineapple) yet is correct to the eye and the palate.
Some bars dream of the coffee that is brought to us at the end of a royal lunch!
And when you eat "healthy" products it doesn't take you hours to digest them, you leave the table obviously full but absolutely not weighed down.
Low cost if we consider the quantity and quality of the dishes offered and served by the owner's daughter, a friendly girl ready to fulfill every request.
The owner is keen to get feedback on the first tastings and he does well, only by asking is it possible to remedy any errors or bring compliments to the kitchen.
There is an air of home, family management is good for places like this and perhaps also for this reason the service is quick albeit unhurried, given that it is a Sunday lunch.
Thank you for this experience, to be repeated!

Fixed menu at €35 with typical local dishes and drinks included. Simple menu, excellent starters (except for the tripe and liver which are a little tasteless), good first courses and a slightly poor second course of meat but it's ok. Very kind and smiling staff, the service was a little slow considering that it was just the two of us and a table that arrived long after us, a couple of hours is a bit too long for a stopover so you have to go if you're not in a hurry :D I would go back!
