We stayed at the masseria for a week, and thanks to the kindness and friendliness of the staff, we immediately felt at home. The masseria is meticulously maintained, nestled among ancient olive trees. The icing on the cake was the opportunity to dine in complete relaxation, enjoying traditional dishes prepared with genuine, locally sourced ingredients. The olive grove tour experience is also highly recommended.

A fun and informative tour walking amongst 1,000-year-old olive trees, with plenty of insights into the wild plants of the area — from prunes and figs to cacti. We visited both ancient and modern olive mills, learning about the traditions and techniques behind production. It finished with a delicious tasting and a clear explanation of the difference between true extra virgin olive oil and supermarket imitations, as well as the emerging disease threatening not only the craft, but also the beautiful trees themselves and their millennia-old heritage. Overall, a great way to spend two hours — and a good opportunity to purchase quality oil at very fair prices.
