One of our regular stops! Reachable on foot after an hour's walk from Gares, there's a significant elevation gain, but just go slowly and your eyes and stomach will thank you! Reservations are recommended. We ate: - Gnocchi with butter and smoked ricotta: a must! Absolutely worth a try, probably the best I've ever had. Go early, they sell out quickly. - Malga dish: a one-pot meal with grilled cheese, mushrooms, pastin, polenta, and cabbage. Divine! The view from the malga is breathtaking. For the daring, it's possible to continue the hike to Forcella Stia, which is quite steep, but offers a unique panorama upon arrival.
