Agriturismo L'Uliveto In Reitano

Enchanting place, wonderful dinner with products of their own production. But above all the owners Cherubina, Giacomo, and their two daughters are exceptional people like few others today, always available and make you feel like real family.

So many things can be said about agriturismo l'uliveto but for me 'coming home' sums up what staying here feels like. A truly family owned working farm, you can see the owners working hard from before 5 am until 11 at night if not later. The hosts, Giacomo and Cherubina are always at your disposal and if you ever need anything they'll do all they can to accommodate you and make your stay as great as it can be. When we arrived we were instantly swept away by the beauty of the farm, the olive trees, hundreds of years old scattered everywhere are definitely the main features, but nestled in between the sea of olive trees are, lemon, mandarin,nespola trees you can also spot the grapes, tomatoes, the herbs, and countless beautiful flowers scattered around. One thing to have in mind is Don't expect a 4-5 star hotel, we stayed in the room called "Limoneto" the room was quite basic but was big enough for a family of 4. The room was complete with a cooker and sink that is big enough to Cook a small meal and with a bathroom with a shower. The sleeping arrangements were a double bed for the adults and a sofa bed for the kids. However the room offered a piece of magic, the little courtyard. Having lunch outside under the shade of the umbrella with the most amazing views over the Sicilian mountainous rugged terrain was breathtaking. Another area where l'uliveto excels is with the eating. There's one dinning room where all guests have their meals and it always felt spacious and comfortable. Almost all the produce used comes from the farm, the eggs, the fruit, the hams, honey, olives, olive oil, etc, etc,etc. Breakfast was amazing, everyday Cherubina came out with her amazing cakes, fresh fruit which were mainly figs as this was what's in season, but not like the figs we buy in a supermarket, amazing tasting figs. We had also a basket of bread to go with a choice of jams, orange, lemon, fig, peach, etc. All homemade. Great coffee, I drink espresso, and their coffee was one of the best I've had, even across Italy. Always too much for us, however, we'd be offered a sheet of aluminium foil to take any of the leftovers with us. Diner which was often served at 8 for most guests was equally delicious, you would start with the primo, which consisted of a pasta dish. Homemade pasta mostly, and with a variety of sausages, yes, using their products. I will never forget the spaghetti with courgette pasta. The secondo consisted of a meat dish with various delicious sides, made from ingredients picked that day. Fagiolini, tomatoes, courgettes in many ways, salads, etc. anything that was ready to be picked, it would usually end up on our tables same day. The meat was mainly chicken or pork and always very flavoursome however the roasted wild boar was out of this world. The swimming pool was great, the times we used it it was quiet and clean and just like the rest of the farm it offered breathtaking views. All this said, words can't describe how welcoming Giacomo, Cherubina and family make you feel. The two weeks we spent at the Agriturismo l'uliveto we felt at home all credit to this hard working, kind family running one of the most authentic places we've visited. We can't wait to return here with the rest of our family as I am sure they'll fall in love with l'uliveto Just like we did.

L'Uliveto farm is a haven of peace and serenity. Owners Giacomo and Cherubina welcomed us warmly and made us feel right at home. The surrounding views are relaxing, and the large pool is a real plus on these hot summer days. The food is wonderful! They cook from their own harvest, and their love for the ingredients and the local area shines through in every simple yet delicious dish. The homey atmosphere envelops and relaxes you. In this oasis, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, you can recharge... a little at home without being at home!

Everything was great, the food was top-notch, cheap, and good! Everything was very clean, and the staff was amazing!

We were looking for a convenient place to visit the Fiumara d'Arte and Cefalù in peace. We searched and booked this farmhouse, just a few kilometers from Reitano and Santo Stefano di Camastra. The promise of a magical stay was immediately apparent when we received a warm welcome from Mr. Giacomo and his wife, Cherubina. Upon seeing us arrive on our motorcycles at a very hot time (temperatures over 36 degrees Celsius), they immediately greeted us, offering us drinks and a good coffee. The property is well-maintained, and Mrs. Cherubina's cuisine is exquisite, made with their own products such as jams, oil, wine, vegetables, pasta, and more. Our room was very comfortable and cozy, equipped with a TV, air conditioning, and a refrigerator. A real highlight is the splendid swimming pool, which allowed us to relax in the cool shade on hot afternoons. The real difference, however, is made by Giacomo, Cherubina, and their daughters: very welcoming people who are attentive to all their guests' needs, making them feel at home. I recommend everyone to try this place. Except Z.

A Hidden Gem in Sicily: A Solo Traveler's Paradise I arrived at Agriturismo L'Uliveto with high expectations, and I was blown away by the breathtaking beauty of this Sicilian haven. The moment I stepped out of the car, I was greeted by a stunning garden, vibrant flowers, and a picturesque valley landscape. Cherobina, the warm and welcoming host, along with her lovely family, made me feel right at home. My cozy room boasted a perfect size and a jaw-dropping view that I couldn't get enough of. The pool and surroundings are a tranquil oasis, perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation. Cherobina's homemade cooking is a culinary delight, with generous portions that will leave you feeling satisfied and content. Not forgetting the delicious spread for breakfast along with all her homemade jams and biscottis! What truly sets Agriturismo L'Uliveto apart is the genuine warmth and hospitality of Cherobina and her family. As a solo traveler, I felt comfortable and at ease, and I would highly recommend this gem to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat or a base to explore the beauty of Sicily. Tip: Renting a car is a must to fully experience the surrounding area. I explored Cefalù, parts of Palermo, Scopello, Mondello, and the local town nearby.. which is also a must see with all the ceramic shops, coffee shops and there is also a really nice fish restaurant Manueliana. Agriturismo L'Uliveto has stolen my heart, and I hope to return very soon. It's a home away from home, and I'm so grateful to have discovered it. 🥹♥️

We couldn't have ended the tour of Sicily in a better place. Agriturismo uliveto is unique beauty, hospitality, authenticity, love: in a word it's home! This place entered our hearts right away: from the wonderful flowers to the shining smiles on Cherubbina and Giacomo's faces. In this place you can find delicious zero-meter foods, a wonderful pool to cool off and a wonderful combination of mountains and sea. Highly recommended for those who want to spend some relaxing days immersed in nature.
