Beautiful place I recommend the spectacular jeep ride.

We stayed at Agriturismo Baita Leanza and it was a wonderful experience! Everything was truly delicious: the olives were spectacular, the black pork sauce simply marvelous, rich in flavor and made with such care that you could taste it in every bite. The owner is incredibly friendly and talented; he made us feel right at home with his kindness and genuine hospitality. The atmosphere is beautiful, warm, and familiar: you can truly feel the air of tradition and quality. We will definitely be back! Highly recommended! 💯🌿🍽️

We advertised this agriturismo on Facebook and decided to try it, based on the many positive reviews. The entrance can be a bit difficult due to the steep climb, but nothing impossible. The restaurant offers, on one side, a beautiful view of the valley and Mount Etna. On the other side, it's a bit dark, but at the same time more secluded and therefore appreciated. There were four of us there, plus a little girl who was just under two years old. The staff was courteous and welcoming. Lunch was a fixed menu, €35, all-inclusive. The mixed appetizers were very good, including the olives with breadcrumbs, the sweet and sour onion, and all the local cured meats. Moving on to the first courses, pasta with Nebrodi black pig ragù, a generous portion and very tasty. The mixed grill was perhaps a bit disappointing, not so much for the quality, but for the distribution of the mix. The four of us found a pork shoulder, a rib steak... we asked for something more and they didn't have to be asked twice. We appreciated it. Cannoli with cream (too bad, I would have expected local ricotta!), coffee, and amaro. The atmosphere was enlivened by musicians who entertained everyone, accompanying the lunch without being too intrusive. If you want, you can also sleep in the designated chalets, but reservations sell out quickly and you have to plan 2-3 months in advance. Considering the price paid, I'd say it's absolutely worth it.

I'm talking about the restaurant. Overall, the food is good. But being a big fan, I can say there's better. The service was a bit sketchy. We went there because we were intrigued by an Instagram reel that raised high expectations, which unfortunately were greatly disappointed. On the other hand, in their defense, they made every effort to please their customers. The musical interlude was beautiful. I don't think I'll return. Quite noisy. Recommended for 2-4 people. The bathrooms were overall clean.
