I was with my family in this messy farmhouse among the green mountains of Monte Catria, solitary and surrounded by silence
The manager is very homely and welcomes us with open arms
It is the prelude to a slap-up lunch, the food is uniquely good, especially sliced meat, sausages, and first courses with white mushroom and sausage ragù
The place is small but comfortable, all in stone and wood, we feel like we are back in time and every now and then I have to say that we need to unplug from our usual hectic life

Very nice farmhouse located near the Fonte Avellana monastery. Limited places as the internal space is quite small so it is advisable to book in advance. Very good food and overall good value for money too. From the menu we first chose an appetizer of cured meats and cheeses with excellent crescia. Then passatelli, mixed mushrooms and porcini mushrooms, definitely good, and baked lasagna, not up to par with our Romagna ones. The second courses are very good, kebabs, lamb and rib-eye whose cooking is finished by the guest on a slate plate which is placed in the center of the table. Also noteworthy are the side dishes, baked potatoes and grilled vegetables. Lunch finished with a sorbet cream. Recommended place. The only downside is the lack of parking. You need to park on the sides of the provincial road.

I can only give the highest score to this splendid farmhouse located in a splendid environmental setting before arriving at the Fonte Avellana monastery.
Last Saturday with my mother going to the monastery we noticed this very beautiful little rustic house and out of curiosity since we still had lunch we stopped.
The welcome from Mrs. Helena "the owner" Loris and the room service were very friendly and nice.
We sat down, in front of us a beautiful fireplace and a lot of tranquility, we began to pamper ourselves with an excellent appetizer of local cold cuts and cheeses, accompanied with excellent Crescia and typical piadina of the area handmade by them, "spectacular"
As a first course we tasted the fantastic Passatelli always homemade with mixed mushrooms and porcini mushrooms and then finished with two portions of Arrosticini and as a side dish sautéed cabbage and potatoes.
Excellent food, clean place, super friendly and welcoming service and staff.
Excellent price.
I highly recommend it for those who love ancient home cooking.

Excellent farmhouse, very nice location, dominated by a large ancient fireplace, excellent growth on the grill, we ate kebabs, truly delicious, friendly staff, excellent quality and price, we will be back.
