We had the pleasure of having lunch at Mr. Pino's "Locanda tra gli Ulivi" and we were really satisfied. The restaurant is surrounded by greenery, with a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere that makes every meal a unique experience. The dishes are prepared with fresh, local ingredients, and you immediately perceive the love for tradition and quality. The flavors are authentic and each course is a discovery. Beautiful location in the countryside not far from the city but easily accessible. A well-renovated farmhouse and especially in the post-Christmas period with truly beautiful decorations on the walls. The fireplace inside gave that extra touch. I was there for a private event, the room was all to ourselves with musical entertainment. Lunch was really good, with lots of local products. The fresh ricotta with mulled wine and chopped walnuts is excellent. The first courses and the roast are also good. But one note spoiled a lunch that for me was truly satisfying. The rudeness and indisposition of a waitress. Right from the reception he seemed impatient, even when assigning seats he showed indisposition towards me because we needed a high chair for a 2 year old child. Despite having sat in the seat indicated by her and not the one assigned by the birthday boy, in a convenient situation for the staff to pass through, during the service she repeatedly showed nervousness towards me and the other guests. Until in a very nervous way he "advised" us to leave the two-year-old nimbus in the adjacent room or to sit alone in the empty room so as not to obstruct the passage. I would like to underline that the passage was comfortable, so much so that even the other waiter never complained, in fact every time I apologized if he had a second of difficulty he never said or made any unkind gestures. While her colleague got upset even if she couldn't find a place to put the plates or if we didn't help her take the full plates or collect the empty ones (a gesture of courtesy that I usually do). It's unfortunate that the work done by a manager and a chef is ruined by the nervousness of young staff who are intolerant of young customers.

I celebrated my birthday!!! I found a beautiful welcoming environment, including the warmth of the fireplace, the owners are always available for any request... recommended for celebrating any event... very good and refined cuisine... very polite staff...

I'll make a positive list trying to list the qualities of this place: Spectacular location; Friendly and welcoming staff; Excellent food that respects the Coratina tradition, including desserts that are very reminiscent of those my grandmother made; What can I say, we will definitely return! Un ottima domenica passata con la mia ragazza, con un menù fisso di pietanze nostrane,ricco di antipasti, tutti molto deliziosi, 2 primi, 1 secondo con contorno, un buon vino rosso marchiato torrevento, frutta, dolce della casa che purtroppo non ho potuto assaggiare in quanto allergico ai frutti di bosco, a cui purtroppo non c’era un’alternativa, cosa non successa per il resto del pranzo, dato la mia ragazza allergica ai funghi, la quale ha ricevuto sempre un ottimo rimpiazzo. Numerosi bis gentilmente offerti dalla casa (ma anche su richiesta, ho chiesto se ci fosse un bis di un ottima carne con della crema di carota sopra e mi è stato servito senza alcun problema). Tutti molto cordiali, complimenti per i camerieri e complimenti al titolare. Lo consiglio se si vuole passare una bella cena, e sentirsi a casa anche in un ristorante.

Posto molto bello...Tutto buonissimo dall'antipasto al dolce ...posto accogliente...personale molto gentile...ci ritorneremo sicuramente.
