Agriturismo La Cerra In Tivoli

A well-kept location nestled in the countryside surrounding Tivoli. Wonderful free-range sheep and splendid ponies greeted us. Cows, donkeys, rabbits, and black pigs complete the scene. In short, a fully-fledged educational farm with children's facilities and games scattered throughout. The restaurant is large and spacious, with plenty of seating, and is decorated with farm relics. The cleanliness wasn't the best, with stained glasses and slightly dusty plates. Unfortunately, our welcome wasn't pleasant, as the dining room was unfortunately infested with bedbugs, which caused a bad mood and discomfort for the first half hour of our meal. According to the waiter, it's a plague for them these days. Good food with quality ingredients, carefully presented, and interesting flavors. The platter and tiella were excellent (although the name for the latter is misleading as it isn't a tiella). The chamomile cauliflower was less good, but the cream soup was interesting. The express lasagna was tasty and richly seasoned. The gobies were also good, but the ravioli, which arrived almost cold, were less impressive. To finish, we tried the tiramisu, which was too heavy with cream; the brioche with ice cream was very good; the panna cotta, however, wasn't to everyone's taste given the bold flavors. The biscuits served with the coffee were excellent. The price was slightly higher than expected, but the location was very interesting. Remember to try it outside of bedbug season.

The riding stables are a dream! My two-year-old son had a blast! This is our second Sunday back! Go! Mr. Alfonso is wonderful and very kind. Trust him!

The wait staff is extremely friendly. Excellent food made with quality, home-grown ingredients. The chalet-style decor is very welcoming. Surrounded by greenery, Rome seems like a distant, fading memory. It's definitely a pleasant place for children, who have the opportunity to see cows, donkeys, horses, rabbits, chickens, and peacocks up close, and even go horseback riding at the stables next to the restaurant. It's one of my favorites, and I'll definitely return...perhaps even staying in one of their cottages after using the pool.

La Cerra is an enchanting place, immersed in an enchanting landscape that relaxes the mind and regenerates the soul, but the real strength is the riding stables managed by Alfonso and regularly frequented by smiling, kind, and friendly people who make you feel right at home. My daughter is 9 years old and can't stop asking to return to La Cerra with Alfonso and Francesco! The horses are well-kept, the stables are well-kept, and the organized rides are unforgettable. For horse lovers, it's the most beautiful place imaginable. But be careful... once you've tried it, you won't be able to help but come back again and again because Alfonso is an exceptional person who will enter your heart. Thank you for everything!!!! I went for lunch on a Sunday with my husband and some friends. The place is very nice and suitable for families with children, as there are several activities for them to enjoy. Regarding the Sunday lunch, which has a set menu, I only gave it three stars because the dishes we liked were the appetizer and main course; the first course and dessert were a bit disappointing. The service was quite fast, considering how busy it was, and the staff were very friendly. In fact, when we were leaving, a waiter asked us how it went, and we politely replied that we were a bit disappointed with the first course and dessert. The waiter replied that if we had told him, he would have brought us something else. We were about to leave... Will we return? Maybe...

We stayed at this property for a weekend in September and were extremely satisfied. The location is beautiful and quiet. I recommend coming in the summer/spring to enjoy the pool the owner offers. Regarding the rooms, which are super clean and have everything you need: heating/air conditioning, a coffee machine with coffee/cappuccino capsules, a kettle with a selection of teas/herbal teas, a mini fridge, a smart TV, etc. Breakfast was also good, as was the dining area. The owners are also very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet weekend in L'Aquila.

A beautiful place surrounded by olive trees. We had lunch in a beautiful, welcoming room with excellent service and food. The atmosphere is quiet, offering a sense of tranquility away from the chaos of the city. I highly recommend it.

A timeless classic. Excellent cuisine and plenty of peace and relaxation. Always recommended for a break from the hustle and bustle and for quality food at reasonable prices. Truly a must-see just outside Rome.
