I'd already been to this magical place with two couples of friends and it was a fantastic weekend! Now, 15 years later, I'm back with my husband and I must say it's a real pleasure, absolutely nothing has changed! It feels like paradise: immersed in nature in a place where old-fashioned values ​​prevail, starting with the delicious meals served at large tables, where you have the chance to meet new people every day. There are no TVs in the rooms, and there's no internet service (only in the reception) or phone signal (only TIM). In the evenings, everyone gathers around the fireplace: some play cards or board games, others play guitar, or, in our case, we all found ourselves roasting chestnuts in the fireplace together. The horseback rides are wonderful, from two-hour excursions to multi-day treks. It's absolutely one of the most beautiful places I've ever been; even solo travelers feel completely at ease in the group. I plan to return soon.. I definitely won't wait another 15 years!!

An oasis of peace surrounded by nature We spent a few days at Agriturismo Il Cornacchino and were thrilled! The place is simply enchanting: immersed in greenery, surrounded by woods and animals, it offers a bucolic and carefree atmosphere, perfect for truly unwinding. The property is meticulously maintained, the rooms clean and welcoming, and the cuisine excellent—simple, authentic, and rich in authentic flavors. We also loved the selection of local spirits at the bar, truly unique! A huge plus is the kindness and warmth of the staff, always available and smiling, who make you feel right at home. Furthermore, Il Cornacchino is dog-friendly: our dog Ozzy had a blast running free and playing in the nature… a true vacation for him too! The location is strategic for visiting the area's main attractions, such as Pitigliano, Sorano, Sovana, Saturnia, and San Casciano dei Bagni. We also tried the riding experience: I rode a horse for the first time and they took me into the woods—an unforgettable moment, in direct contact with nature and these beautiful animals. I love this place! Pure nature! Around 50 horses, living in complete harmony with nature, graze in their herds year-round on the pastures. It's peaceful and ideal for western riding. There are also multi-day introductory treks and treks through Etruscan towns and magnificent landscapes. It's also a wonderful hiking area at almost 900 meters above sea level.

I went in June and booked for September the day after I got home. The staff were very friendly, almost all of whom were first-time guests, so they know what it's like. Because there are different guides, the routes you take also vary. My second time, I brought my dogs, and they were also welcomed with great enthusiasm. Eating at long tables makes it easy to connect with other guests. The food is good and varied. For me, it's not a question of if I'll go back, but when I can.

What can I say? A magical place. Clean rooms, fantastic views, simple yet exquisite cuisine, authentic flavors from times gone by—everything was truly excellent. The horseback riding experience exceeded all our expectations. The horses were well-groomed, the guides were patient and professional, and all in the Tuscan Maremma setting that needs no explanation. It has become one of our favorite places, and we'll definitely be back.

Wonderful relaxing place to regenerate, be with other people from different countries and states, go on fabulous treks and eat great food.

This place is truly fantastic for novice riders. When I first arrived at the stable, I wasn’t confident at all—especially when it came to cantering. I had always felt nervous about it, unsure if I could keep my balance or follow the horse’s rhythm. But the instructors were so kind and encouraging. They kept saying, “You can do it. Just trust the horse and follow its movement.” Their words gave me the courage to push past my fear. I was riding a gentle horse named Mose. At first, I gripped the saddle tightly, but then I reminded myself of the instructor’s advice. Slowly, I let go, relaxed my hands, and began to move with Mose rather than resist. To my surprise, Mose began to canter smoothly. And in that moment, something clicked. I wasn’t afraid anymore—I was flowing with the horse, almost as if we were dancing together. That feeling was unforgettable. It was the first time I truly understood why people fall in love with riding. I’m so grateful for this experience—and for Mose, who carried me with such patience and calm. I left the stable with a huge smile and a newfound sense of confidence.
