The place is charming, nestled in the countryside, and has a family-friendly feel. The food is homemade and well-cooked (of course, for my personal taste, I'd skip the cream in the tagliatelle with mushrooms). The service was prompt and reasonably priced, and despite the crowd, the atmosphere was pleasant and not too noisy. The only disappointment was two dogs (at the same table) who barked (dogs do that!) and were made to sit on their owners' chairs or laps, fed pieces of arrosticini, their little noses touching the table setting. I don't think I was the only one bothered by this. In my opinion, pets shouldn't be allowed. ...but that can't be said...
