Agriturismo Il Casolare In Rombiolo

Nice shop with lovely hosts. Only had an espresso, so I can't comment on the food, but the ambience was nice.

Auf Empfehlung kamen wir in dieses agriturismo-Restaurant. Und waren beim ersten Besuch so begeistert, dass wir den Rest unseres Urlaubs nur noch dort zu Abend gegessen haben. Phantasievolle Küche auf hohem Niveau. Zu mehr als erschwinglichen Preisen. Der Koch kann gleichermaßen mit Fleisch, Fisch und anderen Zutaten umgehen, und das Ergebnis hat uns voll und ganz überzeugt. Die Weinkarte lässt ebenfalls keine Wünsche offen, und der Hauserin ist ausgezeichnet. Leider neigt sich unser Urlaub dem Ende zu, aber wenn wir nach Kalabrien zurückkehren, nicht ohne einen erneuten Besuch in diesem Restaurant. Grazie mille!

I was at this Agriturismo in a cooking class - in a group with the Piccola Universita Italian language course. We had such a great evening learning traditional Calabrian recepies: a fritters starter, fileja pasta and two kinds of sauces. Guiseppe, the Chef was a great host a teacher. I also appreciated the vegetarian options.

Ottimo locale, molto accogliente. Servizio impeccabile ed attenzione alle esigenze del cliente. Ottima qualità delle pietanze servite con accuratezza nel ricercare i corretti accostamenti di sapori. Sono andato presso il locale con mia moglie e vista l'ottima esperienza , mi riprometto di ritornarci con gli amici

Ho avuto il piacere di cenare, venerdì 21 febbraio u.s., presso l’Agriturismo “ Il Casolare “ e posso, assolutamente, confermare di essere stato accolto con estrema gentilezza, così come si conviene, di essere stato assistito al tavolo in maniera perfetta e di aver gustato una cucina tipica calabrese di alto livello per preparazione e qualità. Accoglienza, gentilezza, professionalità e simpatia, del Cameriere al tavolo, Luciano, e dei Titolari, hanno fatto in modo di far trascorre, a me ed ai miei commensali, una serata piacevolissima in un ambiente tranquillissimo ed in cui si è respirata anche “ amicizia “. Con estrema sincerità, per coloro che dovessero trovarsi in Zona, aggiungo che l’Agriturismo “ Il Casolare “ è assolutamente da visitare e che quando sarò di nuovo a Vibo Valentia, con immenso piacere, ritornerò per gustare l’ottima cucina. I miei complimenti, ovviamente, sono rivolti anche al Valente Chef.

Exceptional location!! Too bad it was raining but in summer I think it's beautiful and above all cool!! Excellent food. The guys in the room (Luciano and Giuseppe) were up to the role and very nice. Excellent prices also in relation to the quantity of food served. must try!!!

Mio cognato è fan di questo posto da quando l’ha scoperto. Ad accoglierci un ambienta caldo, ben tenuto, con un camino che ti scalda il cuore…. Siamo arrivati a mezzogiorno e ci siamo alzati alle 15.30… il tempo sembra volato, ma noi ci siamo sentiti a casa…. Menu’ ricco, sia mare che terra… noi abbiamo optato per piatti a base montagna. Un antipasto ricco con fritti, bruschetta e ricotta (lodevole) polpettine, frittata, cipolle agrodolce, salumi… una bontà! i primi che abbiamo scelto erano veramente squisiti: Scialatelli cremosi con broccolo e pancetta croccante. I fusilloni con nduja e ricotta(che goduria) I dolci meritano tutti…. Bravo anche il cameriere che ci ha servito … Servizio eccellente, e prezzo onestissimo. Passateci!

Absolutely must try!! I was there on Sunday for lunch, welcomed by the warmth of the fireplace and the refined environment. Excellent house starter, different from the usual cured meats and preserves, but special mention goes to the fileja with lamb sauce, enveloping and full-bodied flavour. Excellent wine list too... I will definitely be back to taste the rest of the menu which promises very well! Prices for the quality offered are decidedly low.
