Il Calanco è una struttura di tipo familiare, rustica e accogliente che da tempo rappresenta un’eccellenza nel territorio pisticcese. Si contraddistingue per la genuinità del personale che ci lavoro, attento ad accogliere ogni tua richiesta, per la bontà dei piatti serviti, la maggior parte a km zero e per i sapori intensi e veraci tipico della tradizione lucana. Se volete vivere un’esperienza di vitto e alloggio lontana da stress e da inutili sofisticazioni questo è il posto che fa per voi. Insomma al Calanco si mangia bene e si dorme meglio. Bravo Giuseppe, bravi tutti!!!!!

09/07/2025: I don’t mind paying a higher price for an unforgettable experience. Sadly, this wasn’t the case here. I mean the food was acceptable but nothing special. The raw seafood starter was good but that doesn’t really require any cooking skills. I liked pasta with white meat ragout but the seafood pasta was unimaginative and boring. The service was appropriate but not particularly friendly. We kinda had a feeling that we are not really welcome. The whole atmosphere is cold and unwelcoming. A shame.
09/07/2025: €8 for two people for the cover charge is pathetic when you have a bill of €130... The seafood pasta was good, as was the dessert, and the dining room was lovely.
