We only used the restaurant, which was very beautiful and welcoming inside. The food was excellent and well-presented. The price range was medium to high, reflecting the quality of the dishes served.

We had a family lunch outside, and the food deserves special mention: the high quality and attention to raw materials, the dishes were not banal and sophisticated, but without being overly unusual, and the service was attentive but not intrusive. The interior appears recently renovated, very well-kept and relaxed. Unfortunately, I can't give it more than 3 stars, as I would like, because the exterior clashes dramatically with the food and the interior, as if there were two very different managements. There's a lot of greenery with plenty of shade, along with a pool area and children's playground. But the children's playground is broken (better to throw away something broken than leave it there, right? It gives a sense of neglect), and we had three children who would have happily played there. The grassy area isn't particularly well-kept, and the pool didn't seem very clean. A special mention goes to the little bar, which also serves excellent spritzes! If the exterior were in line with the rest of the place, this place would get my 5 stars, and I'd come back for the pool too, even if I paid a little more.

We came here for a family lunch. The place is charming, both the indoor and outdoor spaces (strictly shaded). The service is friendly and attentive. The portions aren't small, the mains are tasty, and the dishes are simple but authentic (the only flaw is the slightly thin filling for the cappelletti). The egg pasta, however, is superb, nice and thick and al dente. Prices are slightly higher than usual, but still reasonable.

I'm assuming we had a great time, we enjoyed the pool, and the staff was friendly. The rating is due to the fact that I had booked at the restaurant for 2 PM, without anyone telling me if the kitchen was closed or anything else. We arrived at 2:10 PM, they seated us and then told us it was late for the kitchen, but the bar menu was still available. Although the selection was limited, but quite good, I would have preferred to know this when booking. I think we'll be back for the full restaurant menu :)

During a recent stay near Imola, I had the opportunity to dine at the "I Merisi" restaurant, a gastronomic gem that elegantly blends tradition and innovation, offering a culinary experience of rare intensity and refinement. From the moment you step inside, you sense a distinctive atmosphere, harmoniously balanced between sobriety and warmth. The ambiance is meticulously designed down to the smallest detail: the understated yet never boring furnishings, the soft yet expertly calibrated lighting, the warm wood tones, and the thoughtful table arrangements—all elements that contribute to creating a sense of intimacy and welcome without ever being intrusive. The cleanliness of the common areas and restrooms is absolutely impeccable, a testament to a constant attention to quality in every aspect. The service proved to be superior. The dining room staff proved extremely professional, courteous without being overbearing, punctual, and well-prepared: each course was introduced with skill and passion, highlighting the key ingredients, preparation techniques, and the philosophy underlying the restaurant's culinary offerings. In an era where improvisation is often disguised as creativity, "I Merisi" stands out for its rigor and tangible knowledge of the art of hospitality. But the food, of course, is the undisputed star of this experience. The menu offers a balanced mix of traditional Emilian dishes and contemporary offerings, always with a strong focus on seasonality and the provenance of the ingredients. As an appetizer, I enjoyed a composition of sweet and sour root vegetables and vegetables accompanied by a light 30-month-aged Parmesan fondue: a simple yet technically perfect start, with a play on textures that immediately piqued my sensory curiosity. The first course was a masterpiece: hand-rolled tagliatelle with white rabbit ragù and lemon thyme. 05/10/2025: Yes, they serve good food (pizza, pasta, fish, and meat) and delicious wine. The service is friendly and helpful. The food usually arrives quite quickly (although we always appreciate a bit of a wait, during which you can leisurely enjoy a beer or sparkling wine first). Reservations are recommended during peak season; in September, reservations are generally not necessary (except on weekends).
