I've always been there and it was the best... the food was excellent, you could really taste the flavours... the last time it really changed
The tortelloni are no longer the same... all glued together... very salty and burnt grilled food. Raw au gratin vegetables... portion of the dessert didn't even reach the throat
Starter changed... shame because the food was really... good... but I think mum is no longer there to cook... I give 5 for the place but 2/3 for the food

Excellent food. Handmade pasta.....their meat of the highest quality....what can I say...you eat very well, exquisite people.....the price is more than excellent!!!!!

Venire al Farneto è sempre un’ottima esperienza ed un piacere, il menu non cambia forse mai, ma nemmeno la qualità, sempre molto elevata.
Il bello qui è che praticamente tutto ciò che mangiate è preparato con materie prime a km zero, quasi tutto autoprodotto, come le carni bovine, o proveniente da aziende agricole della zona.
Una citazione particolare va alle pappardelle condite con sugo di cinghiale, una prelibatezza, poi ai dolci per i quali viene utilizzato il latte ad alta qualità, di cui l’azienda agricola è produttrice e che conferisce ad una nota azienda specializzata del settore.
Molto buoni anche i tortellini, sopra la media rispetto a tanti altri ristoranti.
Dimenticavo, è molto caratteristica anche la location, un’antica casa in sasso ben ristrutturata.

Family-run farmhouse, very fresh products, from meat to fresh pasta. The starter is a must, small crescentine that look like sweets, with their roast beef, salami and fresh cheese. Then the cut, meat that melts in your mouth, very tender, from their animals and slaughtered by them, 0.00 km. To conclude, I recommend the Farneto dessert or a good trifle, delicious.

The Agriturismo is located on the slopes of the gentle hills just above the village of Varignana, at an altitude of just over 400 metres. The road to get there is narrow and a little bumpy, but all in all it is easy and as you go up your gaze is captivated on one side by the beauty of the hills and on the other by the boundless but orderly plain between Emilia and Romagna. Finally a farmhouse that fully embodies the spirit for which these structures were created, that is, offering menus with products raised/cultivated directly on the farm. Very beautiful stone structure with elements of peasant culture. Adjacent stable of approximately 160 heads of livestock and meat and cheese shop adjacent to the restaurant. The room is warm and well-kept, in which a fireplace makes a beautiful display. Outside the windows, hills and gullies follow one another as you await tortelloni with tasty ricotta produced from their cow's milk, seasoned with porcini mushrooms and honey mushrooms. Followed by tagliatelle with traditional Bolognese ragù which are nothing short of sublime, second courses based on very tender and stewed stuffed roast. Grilled seasonal vegetables and finally fried cream. All sprinkled with Sangiovese wine and finishing with nocino and grappa produced by the farm. I haven't mentioned the appetizers with salami (cow with the addition of pork lard - very delicate) produced on the farm, rostbeef and primo sale cheese, accompanied by well-cooked and slightly greasy mini crescentine. Very positive opinion for location, service (smiling and helpful girls), menu and bill. To return as soon as possible and congratulations for the passion you put into every course.

Posto incantevole in campagna con un sapore bucolico (si annusa il “profumo” dei bovini da loro allevati). Casolare in pietra con piccolo museo all’interno ed ampio parcheggio. Ottimo l’antipasto con i loro salumi ed i loro formaggi tutti fatti con latte e carne di loto produzione. Buoni i primi rigorosamente fatti da loro e soprattutto porzioni abbondanti. Ma il vero must have sono i secondi di carne. La qualità eccelsa delle stesse e le cotture sono quanto di meglio si possa chiedere. Consigliamo la cottura in griglia ed i brasati.
