The food was fantastic. We were driving home to Mantua and it was on our way home. Great surprise. Very large restaurant, service was excellent. It had an outdoor area but it was raining so we didn't sit outside. We arrived as soon as they opened so we were first to sit but before we left the restaurant was filling nicely.

Un posto un po’ all’antica, come una volta, dove si andava a fare il pranzo della domenica. Decisamente simpatica la ragazza che ti accoglie, servizio gentile e rapido, cibo semplicemente buonissimo. Parliamo di cose semplici , ma fatte bene, come una volta, appunto. La carne di agnello la fa da padrona, arrosticini deliziosi, buon rosso della casa. Bravi.

... dinner with old friends which certainly favors ... but we ate with quality and abundance and received and treated like usual customers ... this place was truly a pleasant surprise for me and I will not fail to take it into account in the future ...

I have been frequenting this farmhouse for years which over time has passed the management from father to daughter with excellent results. Homemade cuisine with excellent appetizers of cured meats with giardiniera and hot polenta, excellent first courses with wild boar, duck and more and then moving on to second courses of grilled meat. baked like lamb chops, sliced etc. etc. all served with good vimo and the smile of Erika and her staff.
