We entered this winery with high expectations, both because of the numerous positive reviews and the recommendations received from locals. Indeed, the food and the products offered completely satisfied us: the dishes we ordered were truly excellent and matched the quality we expected.
Unfortunately, however, the experience was marred by the service. The waiters seemed cold, aloof, and inattentive, almost conveying a sense of listlessness. A real shame, because in such a characteristic establishment, located in a charming downtown location, a more attentive and friendly welcome would have made the evening much better.
We therefore left this place disappointed, not because of the food, which is worthy, but because of the service, which ruined the overall experience.

A beautiful and well-maintained restaurant in the heart of Guardiagrele. The menu features traditional dishes, and gluten-free options are available upon request. We were pleasantly surprised by the authenticity and deliciousness of the dishes served.

A typical trattoria with rustic, characteristic decor.
Very intimate and warm.
Very good food, especially the parlllotte cacio e ovo. The house red wine was also very good.
The waiter/owner was very friendly.

We returned three times in four days of vacation. It's like eating at your grandmother's house in Abruzzo, a grandmother who cooks truly well. The host is reserved but helpful, and it was a very positive experience. On our last night, he made us rabbit cooked in a clay pot, upon reservation. It was delicious.

I returned a year later. As always, I found Nicola to welcome me, a sort of Capuchin Monk of Guardiese cuisine. Here I find healthy, authentic products and an idea of living outside the usual predictable streets. The pleasure of eating is combined with the search for good and right things.
