A trip to Tabiano from the one in Reggio Emilia, we arrive on site and, before proceeding to visit the Castle, we make sure to book for lunch. We enter the inn and we are amazed! We find ourselves catapulted between the Provençal, the shabby chic, the vintage, the antique, the rustic... Every detail speaks of a research carried out with criteria, nothing left to chance, everything to welcome us in the best possible way, from the splendid closed veranda with period stove, to the toilet... We are welcomed Oscar, the owner, perhaps a little shy but with a natural and spontaneous kindness. We had lunch with tomato gnocchi, black pig with potatoes, parmesan pie, ricotta with berry jam, mixed salad, and yogurt pudding also with berries. Excellent!!! I highly recommend the visit to the Castle but, book first at the Locanda da Oscar!!!💚

Location in a beautiful area next to the Tebiano castle, as soon as we entered it seemed that time had stopped. Cozy place with attention to the smallest details. Very friendly and courteous owner as well as all the staff. My partner and I had the pumpkin pie and goat's cheese as starters, tagliatelle with leek cream stuffed with guinea fowl, potatoes and polenta accompanied by good Lambrusco and finally violet ice cream and nougat semifreddo, what can I say, all divine, a paradise for the palate. Adequate dinner price. I definitely recommend.

Exquisite dishes, very familiar and warm atmosphere, 5-star Oscar service.
The cured meats are top notch, potato gnocchi that melt in your mouth, radicchio lasagna that enchants.

You arrive and you're home. Oscar, his wife, Federico welcome you like an old friend and pamper you with their grandfather's old recipes and the sweets they know how to create in the kitchen. An extremely hospitable and inclusive environment, where in the end all the tables say goodbye before leaving. Thank you.
