I dined at this agriturismo on a hot and muggy August day in Reggio Emilia. To escape the heat of the Po Valley, my girlfriend and I drove about an hour, and it was absolutely worth it.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by a spectacular view of the hills, a panorama that alone makes the trip worthwhile. The location is elegant and meticulously maintained, with a sophisticated yet welcoming atmosphere. The fresh hill air quickly made us forget the heat of the day.
The menu offers traditional Emilian dishes with a touch of originality. For appetizers, I chose gnocco fritto and cured meats, both excellent quality and authentic in flavor. I also tried the fried erbazzone: an interesting and tasty version, although, as a true Reggio Emilia native, I admit the original remains unbeatable.
My girlfriend opted for the cappellacci stuffed with venison and parmesan cream: a rich, balanced, and flavorful dish. I instead ordered the fillet with balsamic vinegar, incredibly tender and perfectly cooked. To finish, we treated ourselves to two desserts, both delicious and beautifully presented.
The bill, including still water, came to €85.50 for two: a fair price considering the quality, location, and service.
All in all, a truly enjoyable experience in every way. We returned home satisfied and eager to return as soon as possible, perhaps to try other dishes on the menu.

Very nice and friendly accommodation. Only the poor soundproofing (inside the house, from the gravel parking lot due to arriving cars and from the passing cars on the adjacent main road) and the resulting lack of sleep justify the star deduction.

I had the pleasure (and the honor, one might say) of getting married in this place, because it's splendid. The view is incredible, the rustic buildings are magnificent, the dining room with its vaulted structure, the terrace, the grounds, and of course, the vinegar factory tour were all wonderful.
We ate very well (from the tasting meal to the wedding reception, including the appetizer buffet and dessert), and drank very well too, with a selection of high-quality local wines.
It was simple, traditional, with a touch of chic alongside tasteful rusticity, right down to the food.
The rooms, with their slightly dated decor but impeccable comfort, lend a touch of nostalgia to the place.
As for the service, especially Umberto's warm welcome, it was flawless. We haven't had the chance to return yet, but some of our guests have. They were absolutely delighted!

I had lunch at this agriturismo with my family two weeks ago. The food was disappointing, with small portions and dishes served almost cold. The quality/price ratio was definitely exaggerated.

Simplicity in form and meticulous attention to detail.
Courteous, polite, kind, and extremely professional staff.
They know how to interact discreetly with customers to offer advice and maintain a modicum of authentic human contact.
Traditional, locally sourced food, as every farmhouse should be, with excellent quality, flavor, and digestibility.
The price is more than fair for the quality of the service and product offered.
Well done, well done, well done!

I had the pleasure of staying at Agriturismo Cavazzone, and the experience was truly wonderful. The property is beautiful and meticulously maintained, with immaculately clean and welcoming spaces. The restaurant is top-notch, both in terms of the dishes served and the attention to detail. Parking is also very convenient and always available.
A special thank you goes to the staff: extremely kind, friendly, and knowledgeable, always ready to offer advice and make guests feel at home. I also highly recommend the guided tour of the balsamic vinegar production facility, which is incredibly interesting and steeped in tradition. A truly worthwhile experience!
