Agriturismo Cascina Smeralda In Pontestura

We were guests of Cascina Smeralda this weekend. A truly fantastic experience! Welcoming, clean environment, very nice and spacious rooms. The food and above all the welcome were excellent. Very kind staff. We were truly pampered by Natasha, a special person who will always remain in my heart. We'll see you again soon. Highly recommended.

My wife and I will forever be grateful to this place that literally saved our marriage. I sincerely thank all the staff and the owner who are truly very kind and hospitable. Thanks to you, the most beautiful day of our lives will be a wonderful memory.

Despite not having used the rooms, the room, beautiful and well furnished, retained a spartan character.... The curtains had to be kept closed so as not to show peeling walls and inappropriate pipes.... Even the ventilation pipe at high altitude would have to be routed elsewhere.... Very clean bathrooms but also those that are precarious as structures…. Service at times unsafe but very courteous and kind.... Nice table linen and excellent food.... The price per person for the chosen menu was a little beyond expectations.... Overall, recommended, especially for the timeless natural setting….

Really nice place. Once you arrive, crossing the tree-lined street, you will find yourself in a large car park available. Immersed in nature, you can see some animals, such as chickens, roosters, turkeys and a beautiful horse, the children will go crazy for it. The structure offers a reception room, a small playground for your children, a dining room, a beautiful internal garden. Entering the restaurant we can see the 3 rooms, one larger, the more intimate central one, characterized by the stone wall, and the other larger. Food? Optimal. We took advantage of the 35 per person menu if I'm not mistaken. Classic Piedmontese food, but of excellent quality. The staff very helpful and kind, I loved the youngest waitress, really professional and very nice

Excellent panoramic position, totally surrounded by greenery and relaxation. Less than 10 minutes from the central area. We stayed overnight and the rooms are large, tidy and clean. Nothing to say about the food either, we had dinner with a tasting menu and in addition to having honest prices, the dishes were well prepared and plentiful (which sometimes makes the excessively small quantities a bit sinful in tastings). Definitely worth returning...

We went to this farmhouse recently for lunch with friends! Let's start by saying that unfortunately we didn't get a sunny day, but we found the rain, and the atmosphere changes... but, even with rain and a bit of mist, the whole complex looked really interesting! Beautiful place with great location and easy to find! It is located on a hill, so the view cannot be missed! The presence of animals, a children's park and a small agricultural museum makes everything interesting! Finally, we arrive at the important part of the review... that is, the Menu 🙂 I must say that the food was good with good wines! Fair price! In my opinion, given its location, it must be wonderful in summer! We will definitely be back!

Ci siamo trovati davvero bene in questo agriturismo scoperto grazie ad amici. Personale simpatico e spigliato ( non ha esitato ad accendere i termosifoni nonostante il periodo fosse scaduto….), location forse un po’ datata ma cena gustosa con qualche perplessità solo per i dolci… normalissimi. Buono l’ antipasto di vitello tonnato e insalata russa, ottimi gli agnolotti, gradevolissimo lo stinco (poco…) all’Arneis. Molto gradita l’offerta di amari e “zuccherini” con zenzero e cannella. 40 euro con una buona Barbera (giovane) di Angelini.

We ate well. Simple but tasty and plentiful menu with a fair price. Fast, friendly and smiling service Location with exceptional greenery views. Would happily return
