This farmhouse is located in the hills of Scanzorosciate, surrounded by vineyards, which produce the famous Moscato di Scanzo. The restaurant is well-maintained and rustic in style. They offer a variety of menus to accommodate all food intolerances and dietary needs. The cuisine is all local, using healthy and authentic ingredients that won't cause any problems even if you overdo it. Their Moscato is delicious; I highly recommend it.

Frankly, I don't understand those who talk about small portions. I struggled to finish, and I usually "take" a good amount—even too much. I can understand those who are afraid of driving down a road that isn't particularly convenient, and those who would like to have a menu with prices, but the road leads up a hill and is among vineyards, so it can't be a highway, and the dishes are prepared—I think—according to availability that day and in a fixed order for all customers. The price doesn't include a tasting of the Moscato, but it includes all the courses and an excellent house red, dessert, and moka coffee: €37 per person. I think you'll leave feeling happy, even too happy... then, if you want the red prawns, the gatto' like Aunt Angelina used to make, the Margherita pizza for the child... well, the world is big.

A wonderful evening at the cascina—highly recommended! We visited last night with friends and our kids, and had a truly lovely experience. The location is stunning, though a bit tricky to reach at night due to narrow mountainous roads—so plan ahead. Once you're there, the setting is peaceful and welcoming. The cascina itself is cozy, with a spacious indoor room for colder months and a wide terrace that feels homely and can host several tables. It’s ideal for families and also perfect for a romantic date night. We chose the apericena option (no second dish like tagliata) and paid around €26 per person—great value for money. The fixed adult menu was delicious, and kids could choose between pasta with cheese and butter or pomodoro, followed by chicken Milanese. Appetizers were fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The rice dish was a standout. One of the later courses was modified with bacon crumble and sage—tasty, though a bit rich compared to the earlier plates. Important note for allergy-sensitive guests: dairy plays a big role in many dishes, so be cautious. That said, the staff were incredibly attentive—especially with our child who has severe allergies. The waitresses were kind, knowledgeable, and made sure everything was safe. Service was excellent overall. The two ladies who looked after us were friendly and took time to explain each dish and the wine pairings. The cascina produces its own red and white wines from grapes grown on-site. We tried the white—it was light, fruity, and paired perfectly with the meal. We were offered seconds of everything and left feeling full and happy. Dessert was a tagliere of assorted sweet treats, finished with a glass of Moscato di Scanzo—a perfect ending. Tip: Parking is limited, so arrive early to avoid hassle.

You can taste the passion and attention to the local area behind them. The house wine is also excellent, a must-try. The staff is incredibly friendly and immediately makes you feel at ease.
