We stayed at Cascina Degli Ulivi with our children for the fourth time. Once again, we enjoyed the peace, the nature, the hospitality, and the delicious dinner and breakfast. Naturally, we also enjoyed a number of natural wines again. We will certainly be back.

We organized a family lunch for 30 people. At this agriturismo I wasn't familiar with. I relied on the reviews and the owner's friendliness and helpfulness. The quality of the products, their freshness, and their availability exceeded all expectations. Homemade bread and focaccia. Delicious tagliatelle with wild boar sauce, paired with organic wines. Well-executed, fresh, and rich dishes. A lunch immersed in the beauty of nature, enlivened by the exquisite dishes. Delighted by the enchanting scent of white, lilac, and yellow cyclamen.

We stayed at Cascina degli Ulivi for Easter. The place is truly beautiful, well-kept, and welcoming, ideal for a relaxing day. The food was also good, with well-prepared, high-quality dishes. It's a shame about the children's menu, which wasn't very adequate. In a setting like this, one would expect something more. Overall, a positive experience.

09/05/2026: Second time at La Gallina, and it's always a wonderful experience, certainly for the food and wine, but also for the relaxing atmosphere, the beautiful outdoor area with plenty of tables, a lovely lawn, and a beautiful view. We started with an aperitif outside in the beautiful sunshine, a bottle of 'La Gallina' sparkling wine, a great start 👍🏻 The restaurant is housed in a former barn; the dining room is spacious, bright, and very welcoming. The menu offers traditional Piedmontese dishes with Campanian influences, brought to us by the chef, who delighted us with his local produce. The dishes we tasted were all delicious; I particularly enjoyed the gnocchi with sea urchins and morels and the calamari 🦑 with foie gras. Special mention goes to the butter flavored with Cantabrian anchovies and the pre-dessert, a buffalo mozzarella ice cream with basil granita and extra virgin olive oil. The wine cellar is excellent; in addition to the aperitif, we found a Contratto Blanc de Blanc and a Moët-Chandon Rose. Attentive and professional service.

28/06/2026: I had a great time, and I ate very well, and the service was excellent.
05/06/2026: After years of experience eating rolled kebabs, I can honestly say that this is the best place in Alexandria. The other dishes and pizzas are also excellent, as are the traditional baklava sweets, which are always fresh and crispy! Edit 2026: I'd like to add that after the renovation, the place is now much more spacious and bright. Kudos to the owners!
