Excellent fish cuisine, Vittorio the chef is a person who puts passion into it. The sauces and aromatic herbs are expertly combined with the dishes.

House appetizer for 2 people to avoid... only very commercial cured meats, a miserable piece of cheese, an inexpressive burratina and a slice of melon, mortadella. No trace of ham. Excellent house wine and a very honest price. Honestly, not having been satisfied with the starter, I preferred not to take anything else and, therefore, I cannot judge the other dishes. I'll come back to check the first and second ones.

Informal but comfortable place. Honest prices and good food, it is definitely worth a visit if you are nearby and want to take a trip to Lake Piediluco. I recommend a boat trip in the morning, lunch at the restaurant and a walk along the lake or in the village. In the photo a first course of ciriola with bacon and basil and pecorino pesto. And cod tortelloni with clams and rocket. Even the ice cream they make is worth it ;)

We had a first course and a fried lake fish, the ciriole alla ternana and the medium fried fish were good and with a homemade taste. The waitress and bartender were very kind. The environment is a bit dark.

Sunday lunch, booked the day before and they left us the table in the shade, luckily, given the hot and sunny day. We place the order including a fancy fish appetizer, a tagliolini with clams, a tagliolini with lake scent, a truffle whitefish gnocchi, a fried potato, a cut of beef, a fried seafood dish, a baked whitefish with water and 1/4 house wine. After 10 minutes the waiter arrives and tells us that there was no wine and offered me a glass of prosecco, so I accepted but then they charged me on the bill as 1/2 liter of wine. The starter arrived and the 2 of us ate it well and I must say that it was perhaps the best dish I have eaten even if it was a little too oily. Second problem, there were no more tagliolini and they offered us spaghettone which, all things considered, wasn't bad. Then there weren't even any gnocchi anymore and we opted for cod tortelli, but unfortunately you couldn't taste the cod while the clams were very good even if you could smell the sand on some. Unfortunately, the lake-scented tagliolini lacked a bit of salt, otherwise it was an excellent dish. The second courses are good as usual. Clean environment and bathroom. Friendly staff but unfortunately the waiting times between one course and another were quite long. They also have good ice cream. However, the value for money was good even if I expected a little more discount given all the changes that occurred through no fault of ours.
