I've been coming to this trattoria for years. Traditional cuisine with time-honored specialties. Green nettle tagliatelle with prosciutto ragù, fried crescentine with cured meats, and, for a few years now, grilled Mora Romagnola beef, raised on site by the owners. Delicious, authentic, and excellent value. A guarantee passed down through three generations.

Dishes with authentic Bolognese flavors, served with friendly and attentive service. Classic and flavorful appetizers, excellent first courses: be careful with the fried cream, it's addictive! The selection of gins is interesting.

I'd never been to this place before, but I was impressed by the kindness, hospitality, cleanliness, and the spacious and tastefully decorated rooms. The dishes were excellent and refined, made with care and authenticity, from the handmade tortelli with nettles, the ravioli, the grilled meats, all homemade and served with kindness and skill. The price wasn't high either, considering we were in the hills of Bologna, surrounded by beautiful nature!

Clean, spacious, tidy, and bright. Traditional home-style cuisine. Excellent food made with select ingredients. The homemade desserts are special.

On December 25, we had a soccer team dinner there, with parents and children in tow. We had a table for about fifty people, and everyone fit comfortably. The kids even had room to run around, and we were all happy. The menu consisted of a first course of green tagliatelle with ragù and crescentine with cured meats. White and red wine, still and sparkling water, and a few soft drinks for the kids. The tagliatelle were very good, as were the quality of the cured meats. The crescentine were a bit thick, but still good and not greasy. Spirits, grappa, coffee, and some desserts were included for the agreed-upon price of €35. Highly recommended.

Emilian cuisine done well, locally sourced ingredients, amazing pasta dishes, perfect ragù, top-quality meats, Bolognese fritto misto, and delicious fried cream. Highly recommended. Amaro all'ortica is the icing on the cake.
