Great combination of wine history and food!

The pasta class was the highlight of our trip to Rome. Thank you Michelle (and all of the staff) for an amazing day!

The hosts are full of life and knowledge!! The food was incredible, and the wine was perfect. We could have spent the whole day here!

Every detail about our tour was well thought out and exceeded expectations! Our tour guide was personable, knowledgeable, funny and very hospitable. The tour of the town was interesting and a nice change from the city of Rome. We stopped and had wine in a local tavern and then were shuttled to the vineyards, where we got to speak with the 8th generation winemaker. The olive oil and wine were delicious, topped off with a home made lunch. We had a dietary restriction in our party and they were very accommodating. I am a sommelier and wine educator and I enjoyed as did the many wine novices in our group, so it’s great for all experience levels. I have been to many wineries in and outside the US and this will be one I’ll never forget. If you are thinking about doing this tour, think no further and book it now!!

My expectations were exceeded on this adventure. I didn't want to do a run of the mill pasta and tiramisu course in Rome, there are so many. I wanted to do something special outside of the city. I am so happy I chose Minardi! Paola, our guide, was amazing! The winery was so beautiful. I'm coming back to Rome in a few months and can't wait to bring friends back to Minardi.

A few weeks ago, my parents and I went on the Minardi Pasta Class & Wine Tour excursion - and wow! You’ve gotta try this! First, it was very easy to get to Frascati from Rome, following the directions provided by the winery. We were picked up at the train station and taken to the famiy’s private vineyards. I can’t remember our guide’s name - but she was from Australia & was absolutely wonderful, so knowledgeable. We started the day with a pasta-making class, led by Chef Paola. We were taught how to make 3 kinds of pasta & we were laughing and having a blast the whole time. It was like your great aunt came over to teach you and your friends how to cook! Chef Paola was a great teacher, and very entertaining. Then we got a tour of the winery from our guide, which included strolling through the vines, learning the history of the Minardi family, and sampling some delightful wines before sitting down to a delicious meal - featuring more wine, live music, dancing and of course, our homemade pasta! It was like feasting with family. The day was so much fun, the wine was delicious, the pasta class was truly incredible, the meal was delicious, and everyone we interacted with all day was truly incredible. Can’t recommend this one enough.

We loved every aspect of this tour! The host, Nico, was fun, engaging and informative, and the Chef, Anna, was a joy as she taught us to make pasta. The food and wine was fantastic, and the views from the winery were spectacular. We met the owner, Umberto, and were so humbled by howhe shared his home and grapes. This tour was the highlight of our visit to Rome. Thank you for the experience!

Our wines from Minardi Winery just arrived! It brings back the best memories from our trip to Frescati and our pasta class, wine tour, tasting, and lunch with great entertainment and wonderful hosts and guests. Highlight of our week in Rome.

10/10 do recommend this pasta making and wine tasting experience! From Paola picking us up from the train station, to the interactive, vibrant cooking class, to winery tour and samples, this experience made our time in Rome that much better! Not to mention the pasta we made was absolutely delicious! Met some wonderful people on our tour as well. Do this tour you won’t regret it!

We had a wonderful day at the Pasta and Wine Class! Transportation was so easy with getting picked up at the train station, and our guide had such interesting stories about the winery and the town of Frascati. We enjoyed touring the winery and tasting the wines, and learning about the process of making it. Making the pasta let each of us be involved, and of course eating it was the best! Taking a day away from the busyness of Rome and doing this class was one of the highlights of our trip!
