Agriturismo Alla Vecchia Scuola In Zeri

We had dinner one evening at this agriturismo. It was a delicious dinner that tasted like home, with authentic, traditional Zerasca food. The dishes were incredibly generous and excellent value. The owners and staff were incredibly kind and attentive. I'm a vegetarian, but I often adapt based on what's on offer. Without any expectations and without prior notice, I asked before dinner if a vegetarian option was available. I was immediately and extremely kindly granted my request. I really appreciated their helpfulness, which shows care for the customer. Highly recommended!

I came here for the restaurant. The set menu features two or three dishes per course. Everything is tasty and homemade. We were very full by the end. Drinks were also included: at least half a glass of wine and water for two, plus coffee and liquor. One of the nicest bathrooms I've ever seen in a restaurant: I imagine the rooms are just as well-maintained. The view is also beautiful!

I slept here one night during the walk. Clean room with all the comforts. The managers also prepared me a dinner consumed in the room even though it was a day the restaurant was closed. Anita and the others are kind and hospitable people. The price is more than reasonable. Thank you

I stopped at the farmhouse during my journey along the Via dei Monti. I both stayed overnight and had dinner and in both cases I was very satisfied. The rooms were very clean, well heated and located in a beautiful village; the dinner was exceptional, with local products prepared at their best. All "accompanied" by the kindness and great helpfulness of the owners!

In cammino, lungo la seconda tappa della Via dei Monti (Levanto-Pontremoli), ho sfruttato questa struttura soltanto per il pernottamento dato che il servizio ristorante al mio arrivo era chiuso per riposo settimanale. Il locale per il pernotto a me consegnato si trova all'interno dell'antico borgo di Castoglio, chiuso in un'atmosfera d'altri tempi. Sono stato benissimo e il gestore ha avuto pure la cortesia di prepararmi a sacco il cibo necessario sia per la cena sia per la colazione per il giorno dopo. Utilissimo punto di appoggio anche per chi effettua il Trekking Lunigiana.

The farmhouse enjoys a wonderful view. The place is well furnished, it is warm and transmits tranquility, almost as if we were at home. The price of the menu is very fair, consistent with what is offered and indeed, convenient compared to what is usually offered in similar establishments. The food is great. The portions are satiating and even, in some cases, abundant. I recommend it to anyone who wants tranquility, hospitality and good food. Obviously the staff was polite and attentive. It deserves the maximum number of stars that can be assigned.
