Agriturismo Al Castagno In Abetone

I had lunch at the farmhouse on a sunny Friday afternoon. A little hidden and immersed in the Pistoia countryside/mountains, reachable via a winding but picturesque dirt road, the farmhouse is a pearl in the middle of the woods, with attention to every detail, well conceived, immersed in uncontaminated nature. The owner, very nice and sociable, cooked just for us (we were the only couple present for lunch). The dishes, all genuine, local, delicious, met our expectations perfectly. Eating outdoors was a great experience, under the small gazebos set up for this purpose, where even our dog relaxed and relaxed. The price was very good compared to the quality and quantity of what was eaten (around 33 euros each for a starter, two first courses, a second course, two desserts + house wine). I would go back immediately. Well done and congratulations for everything, from the friendliness, to the cuisine, to the enchanting place! Staying in the apartments for a holiday would also be worth trying...

We were there today for lunch, a beautiful place in the middle of nature, away from noise, absolute peace, excellent food, friendly and very welcoming staff. The interior is beautiful and very clean. An experience to be repeated for sure

We slept in this beautiful spot for three nights in a cosy apartment for two people. We had breakfast outside in the terrace with an outstanding view on the surrounding mountains. Be sure to have a suitable car to climb up the road to get there. Very kind staff. Convenient place to walk in the paths all around Abetone. Interesting museum on second world war and Linea Gotica in Pianosinatico

We stayed one night in this farmhouse for my birthday and we loved it, starting from the area isolated from everything and surrounded by nature, the very clean and well-kept rooms and the restaurant with very good and abundant dishes, congratulations! The price is right and the lady who welcomed us was also very helpful in giving advice on where to go for some beautiful walks. The road to get there, however, is not easy and the lady at the restaurant did not offer us the Tuscan appetizer I would have liked, I saw it later at a nearby table. However, I recommend trying it because it's worth it! I then recommend rewriting the rules sheet because it is too rigid.

Easter Monday lunch. From the first courses to the dessert, everything was very good and plentiful.
