We visited the Paltrinieri vinegar factory in October 2025. Our guide (Anna) was very knowledgeable and available to answer our questions. It was very interesting to learn how balsamic vinegar is made and to see the barrels in which it is produced. The tasting of the different types of balsamic vinegar was also excellent. At the end, we also enjoyed a delicious aperitif consisting of crescentine, various cured meats, Lambrusco, and Grana Padano with balsamic vinegar. Highly recommended!

I thought better...
On weekends, the menu is fixed, with a choice of "the entrée" (as they call it, I won't even comment on it)—three small pieces of mortadella with a drizzle of vinegar and three tigelle per person), three first courses, three second courses, water included (at least the first bottle), and dessert for €30 per person.
So, I have to say, everything was delicious, even the very generous portions (the ribs they serve in vinegar, though I have to say, had more fat than meat, but let's leave that aside). Very nice at first (or at least before paying), but NOT recommended due to lack of adaptability, and too snobbish in my opinion.
I'm very sorry to give a bad review, but we really didn't expect this kind of behavior.

We had dinner here on a beautiful summer evening. The staff was friendly, professional, and kind. Good food, great service, and a wonderful location.

We did the balsamic tour. I had no idea of the amount of work that goes into making balsamic. The tour was nicely done in English. Then we did a tasting and of course we bought some balsamic to enjoy in the Netherlands.
