The reason I am not giving 1 star for this experience because it’s probably my fault that I am so disappointed. Someone recommended the restaurant and we came without checking. We expected some hearty, home made Sicilian lunch. However I was more than disappointed with the selection. We chose pulled pork. For the price, I think it’s a huge disappointment. We got a little amount of pulled pork and 6-7 small pieces of boiled potato with two little sad slices of zuccini. It was cold as well, so I asked for reheating which the lady did of course, she was really nice. However, I dont think it tasted fresh or homemade at all. I would expect to have some nice fresh salad or herbs with the dishes. The service was kind and the atmosphere is cool as well. Probably this restaurant is not for us at all. However, the portion and the presentation should be improved a lot.

The kitchen is open to view, a touch that allows you to appreciate even more the passion and quality they put into their work. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and create a pleasant, homely atmosphere. Don't miss the selection of natural wines, which perfectly accompanies the dishes. An experience that fully reflects their concept of "eating without worries". Highly recommended!"

My favorite restaurant in Catania. Top quality raw materials and truly exquisite dishes. Excellent choice of wines and very friendly staff. I recommend it 100%.
