There aren't many 5-star hotels, a welcoming place, super friendly staff, excellent and authentic food. I'm coming from Cassia, but I'd love to go back; it's worth it. Excellent, highly recommended.

Antica Locanda della Via Francigena

30/03/2026: Superb location, tranquility and nature surround this place, the staff is very friendly and you sleep very well in the rooms, the mattresses are just right and my stiff neck is gone, the service is excellent and so is the food, super-rich breakfasts, both savory and sweet. I had a need for heating, I asked and they immediately provided it. Just ask and they are very responsive.
