Agorà In Ascoli piceno

It was recommended to me by a person in the area. Nice, welcoming place. The girls were nice. I took the truffle olives, an explosion of flavour, and the meat ravioli, truly excellent. Accompanied by a glass of local red, water and a coffee, the bill costs 31 euros. I saw a very inviting set of cutting boards on other tables.

Staying overnight at the Palazzo Ciotti hotel, I tried the tasting menu of the adjoining bistro. The local pecorino cheeses and the small tasting of mixed fried foods are excellent (the REAL Ascoli olive, a distant relative of the frozen ones found in pizzerias), also noteworthy are the egg cooked at low temperature with pecorino fondue and black truffle and the meat-filled ravioli always with black truffle. The dessert was also excellent (mascrpone cream with vanilla and raspberry crumble.

Locale piccolo ma molto curato in ogni particolare, servizio eccellente, cibo fantastico, olio d'oliva superlativo, prezzo adeguato. Titolare molto professionale e accogliente. Consigliatissimo.

Tutto molto bello, sia esteticamente ma sopratutto per il personale sempre disponile e gentile. Sopratutto Cristian, che ha divertito me e la mia famiglia.

First place we tried when we were in Ascoli, delicious fried olives and a platter of cold cuts and cheeses too, the mozzarella left a bit to be desired, better not to serve it. Very nice and well-kept place, helpful and very friendly staff. I had also forgotten my crutch, they left it outside the club and I got it back the next night! Great!

Everyone with this amatriciana or carbonara... but in my opinion you can't beat a well-made spaghetti with tomato sauce. And here you can really try it. Spaghettone with confit cherry tomato pesto, cacioricotta and basil! Sublime Really delicious! Not trivial! Not a given! Excellent presentation! Here you can find real Ascolana olives, among other things home-grown, normal or with truffles. Delicious. To finish, a revisited tiramisu...my way! Never had such a good dessert, presented in the best possible way! Congratulations to all the staff, fast, friendly, professional! Truly an unforgettable experience! Congratulations to the boys!! Bar in the centre, on Piazza Arringo. We had an aperitif with a mixed platter. We were not served immediately by the waitress but it didn't take long to call her and take the order. The platter was with Ascoli olives, ham bruschetta, olive skewers, polenta and a mini savory sandwich. The drink was a Spritz, well made. Externally there are many tables and chairs, but it is not always easy to find a seat, despite the change. On beautiful days like today, it is pleasant to move around the square and enjoy the view. Highly recommended...
