Agli Archi Trattoria In Ragusa

Beautiful people, beautiful place, beautiful food! We went here twice on our trip to Ragusa. Service was great, good suggestions and tips for vegetarians as well.

We had our last dinner in Sicily here and while the food was decent, we found the waiters unfriendly. One of them (the owner maybe) elevated the experience though being kind and professional. We were asked about a tip only after we had all paid, which felt unnecessary, especially after having paid the service charge? Place was cute though.

At the entrance to Ragusa Ibla you can see this trattoria with tables on the terrace overlooking the splendid church. The owner illustrates all the dishes in great detail on the preparation and raw materials together with his blackboard. Assorted meat and fish menu. We opt for an appetizer of sardines and panelle, good! Tasty ravioli and courgette and lemon tagliolini (not as tasty as a first course). Pork shank and potatoes. Friendly, attentive staff. A nice atmosphere even if the place isn't very big. Decent price quality. Advise.

I had dinner here with my wife for her birthday. The atmosphere is very suggestive with the view of the church of SS Anime del Purgatorio from the terrace. Very friendly and welcoming staff. There is no fixed menu but it varies every evening. The owner shows it to you on a board and is very available for explanations and advice (also in English). We had an appetizer of prawns in tempura with ragusano fondue and two first courses: ravioli with prawns in citrus sauce and paccheri with octopus, cherry tomatoes and toasted breadcrumbs. Everything was really excellent. The wine list offered a good variety of wines, especially Sicilian ones. Prices appropriate to the quality of the ingredients and the preparation methods. I would definitely stay here again on my future visits to Ragusa.

Medium-high level restaurant with attentive service.... and a wonderful view of a stunning baroque church. Very quiet and super relaxing location, I recommend it

Very good food! Large portions, great octopus and excellent tiramisu. Lovely staff! I recommend this inconspicuous trattoria on the terrace. First class wine!

We loved it here. We went to this restaurant for lunch in 2022 so we decided to go for dinner this time. We ended up going twice and went for a third evening on our last night in Ragusa but it’s closed on a Thursday and we were gutted. The manager to comes to your table and shows the menu on a board explaining every dish. The service was excellent and the food exquisite. Very reasonable prices to boot. If you are in Ragusa go here. The restaurant sits on a terrace over looking the main square which ostensibly divides Ibla for Superior. Fabulous. Grazie a voi. Ci vediamo presto!
