Top-notch food and fantastic service Highly recommended

A pleasure trip with my partner. Tenuta Monte Laura offers peace and tranquility, surrounded by greenery. A wonderful walk to visit the animals, including gorgeous horses, is a must. The food is excellent, the grilled meats are top-notch. The owner, Flavia, is a wonderful and friendly person who made us feel at home. Highly recommended!

Immersed in greenery and surrounded by beautiful trees, the exterior is very beautiful, but the interior is a little less so (all white). The food is good, but nothing special. The prices are a little higher than average, especially since you're paying for the air you breathe, including bitter coffee, etc., even if you spent €200. All in all, though, it's not worth it.

Excellent service, personal and professional, and excellent quality food. The estate is surrounded by nature, perfect for trekking. Kudos to the owner for her management.

The estate is beautiful, the food excellent, the owner very helpful and kind, the service equally as wonderful, a wonderful place for nature lovers. Definitely worth a visit again.

On day 2 of our unscripted motor tour from Naples to Florence via the Amalfi Coast, we again found ourselves looking for a place to stay. We came across Tenuta Montelauro on Google maps. Having heard and read so much lately about agritourism, I was anxious to give it a try. My guess is that they don't get a lot of walk-in guests, so were probably a bit confused by our unannounced arrival and request for 2 rooms for the night. That confusion quickly faded and their hospitality and cordiality shined through. The entire facility seems nearly new. The rooms are large and comfortable. We had first floor rooms (one above ground level) that opened onto a large shared patio overlooking heavily forested grounds. This place specializes in their own dry-cured meats. You pick your cut of meat from the curing "closet". Servings are one kilo per couple. Even with the bone-in cuts, this is an ample serving. The table was set with a generous charcuterie board and a small side salad. The entire meal, including desert and 2 bottles of a very nice local wine came to a bit over €30 per person. Breakfast, included in the €70 fee per room was equally generous in size and every bit as delicious. We believe you cannot go wrong with this hotel. I rate it excellent in every regard.
