Agathòs - Pizzeria & Bistrot In Siracusa

Thanks to the murder mystery dinner event we learned about this place. Unfortunately the position of our table was not the best because it was adjacent to the fridge area from which it came out very cold. We had the pizza menu dedicated to the event: good dough but the Athens pizza was not tasty, all the ingredients were left raw or seared but did not add any flavor and an impalpable thread of cheese. The only unforgivable flaw is the service of coffee and limoncello in plastic cups. Terrible. As for the service, the guys were obviously very busy and at times unable to do so due to the show but they still maintained a good service, it's a shame that one of the waiters asked: could I have a pen? was rude and dismissed me with a "well bye".

Cozy environment. Pleasant professionalism and availability of the staff who were kind, smiling and courteous. The pizza was really delicious, we took both the Pizzoli of various flavors and also the hamburger. I recommend it!

The place is nice, even if the second room can be reached externally it is not very practical especially because everything is brought from outside and when it rains I don't think it's the best and in any case the pizzas risk arriving colder than they should. The friendly staff, even if they have to be more careful in the kitchen as a pizza without speck was ordered and instead it arrived with speck and instead of making it again, it was brought to the kitchen without the speck and returned in 30 seconds, and therefore the customer did not he was satisfied because this is absolutely not how it is done. We spent a pleasant evening even though there was a table with children left free to run around the place causing quite a disturbance to the other diners and the waiters who had to slalom to avoid them. The pizza choices are good and the prices are average. All in all recommended with some small improvements.

Il Locale è carino, anche se la seconda sala è raggiungibile esternamente non è molto pratico specialmente perché tutto viene portato dall'esterno e quando piove non credo sia il massimo e comunque le pizze rischiano di arrivare più fredde del dovuto. Il personale gentile anche se in cucina devono stare più attenti in quanto è stata ordinata una pizza senza speck ed invece è arrivata con lo speck e anziché rifarla, è stata portata in cucina tolto lo speck e riconsegnata in 30 secondi, e quindi il cliente non è rimasto soddisfatto perché non si fa assolutamente così. Abbiamo passato una serata piacevole anche se c'era una tavolata con bambini lasciati liberi di scorrazzare per il locale recando non poco disturbo agli altri commensali e ai camerieri che dovevano fare lo slalom per evitarli. Le pizze scelte buone e prezzi nella media. Tutto sommato consigliato con delle piccole migliorie.

Wonderful atmosphere of the restaurant and incredibly friendly service. We didn't really understand from the names of the dishes what ingredients might be inside and the waiter, apart from explaining everything thoroughly, even showed us photos of the dishes and pointed out the ingredients in the photos so that we understood 100%. Finally, he said about the Italian custom: fare la scarpeta and encouraged it. All the dishes we ate were delicious. I recommend. Very late dinner. According to the menu on Google, fish was supposed to be served, but unfortunately the restaurant serves fish only in summer. So we ordered pizza and both were delicious.

We were looking for a restaurant that was around the corner from us and we weren't disappointed! Friendly, nice, fast service and very tasty fresh pizza! Prices great too!

Good pizza, good service. The only 2 things that they can inprove is the knife, difficult to cut a pizza, and the chair was not so stable.

Abbiamo prenotato un tavolo per due persone alle 20:30 (sabato) e non appena siamo arrivati ci hanno subito fatto accomodare servendoci i menù. La scelta delle pizze è abbastanza varia e i prezzi nella norma. Il personale è stato molto presente ed il servizio molto rapido. Le pizze non erano un granché (molto spesse e condimenti a parer mio di bassa qualità). Infine ci è stato gentilmente chiesto se potessero “offrirci” un dolce o un caffè (ho scelto un caffè) che mi è stato comunque fatto pagare.
