I've known this place since way back in 1996, when there was still a pink corner dedicated to lesbians, where there is now a smoking corner. I rarely come with friends, and many things have changed over the years. The fact remains that it remains an iconic place in the Milanese gay scene, masterfully managed by Felix.

Tucked away in the heart of Milan’s nightlife scene, Afterline is more than just a gay club — it’s a space where the entire LGBTQ+ community feels welcome, including many trans, non-binary, and gender-nonconforming people. The atmosphere is open, international, and effortlessly cool. On any given night, you’ll meet people from all over the world, and the mix of languages, styles, and identities gives the club a uniquely global energy. The music ranges from deep house to hyperpop, and the DJs always know how to read the room. What sets Afterline apart is its sense of freedom: it’s not about fitting into a scene, but about being yourself — loudly, proudly, and without judgment. If you’re in Milan and looking for a place that’s inclusive, authentic, and full of life, Afterline should be on your list.

A very fun place. I was with my friends at the end of the year. A large place. With smoking area. There was go-go dancing entertainment at the bar. There were guys looking for "protection" like in many gay places but they didn't bother. The area, near the central station, looks a bit sinister but is quiet. The prices are very correct.
