Adler Stube In Villabassa

The room was perfect, as were the hotel services. The dinner and breakfast were excellent. Thanks to Maximo for his welcome and Matteo for the meal. The staff are welcoming and competent. Everything was perfect.

I've known not only this place but almost all of South Tyrol for many years. I love Tyrolean customs and folklore. I still remember going to church on Sundays, everyone dressed in their traditional costumes. Good times... other times... unfortunately.

We were staying nearby but were able to enjoy the delicious and authentic cuisine twice in this charming, clean, and cozy restaurant. The hostess and staff were exceptionally attentive and friendly, even to our three children. Everything went perfectly. As Belgians with a passion for fine dining, we can highly recommend this restaurant. They use local ingredients, and the plates are beautifully presented. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back to enjoy all the delicious food. Excellent value for money! Fam. Van Hulle

Prima esperienza in questa storica Stube. Locale indubbiamente di atmosfera in cui i tavoli e le sedie trasmettono il calore delle tante persone che si sono avvicendate negli anni, anzi nei secoli. Sia mia moglie che io avevamo voglia di un piatto di carne e abbiamo ordinato bistecca di manzo (con patate e cipolle croccanti): ottimo il taglio, ottima la cottura, sapore davvero gustoso. Come pure perfetto l'abbinamento, suggerito dal maître, con un Lagrein dagli intensi sentori di frutti di bosco. A seguire: mirtilli con gelato al limone. Finalmente dei mirtilli con un sapore davvero proprio e non frutti gonfi d'acqua. Certo un pranzo semplice, ma la qualità c'era tutta. E quindi 5 stelle. PS Particolare significativo: la bottiglia d'olio sul tavolo era di un ottimo produttore umbro (Gaudenzi). Non mi era mai capitato finora in Trentino, dove anche in ottimi ristoranti si "scivola" non di rado sull'olio, spesso da grande distribuzione. Me ne sono felicitato col maître.

It's hard to describe this hotel in a few words.. But this hotel has a soul and something that you won't find anywhere else.. you want to stay here, you want to come back here.. romantically by the fireplace, sipping wine..

I don't understand if so many reviews are bought or put there by relatives and friends, let's start with the positive things, the Stefano staff, the two Sardinians whose names escape me, the excellent girl, without them I wouldn't have given the 5 stars, excellent cuisine, with a few errors, but excellent, let's move on to the negative things, a hotel that has gone through the years with lots of junk of all kinds, the large room with a bed that apparently costs a fortune, but I slept very bad, after the first night I woke up with back pain and pain all over, the second night I made my wife sleep on my side and the next day she also got up with back pain, I talked about it with the owner, telling him the situation, but he reiterated that the beds are the flagship of his hotel, ok but I sleep badly, can we put some boards under the topper? He reluctantly agrees, having arranged the bed with some tables, I slept a little better, we get to the SPA...🤣 those who comment praise the spa have never seen a real SPA, point 1 old, outdated over the years, the sauna is very small with a maximum capacity of 3 people, infrared cabin, old, a Dampf sauna which is also small, a shower that blocks the drain 🕳️ and fills with water, another shower cubicle never seen in my entire life so senseless, then not to mention the fruit that is put in a tray 3 apples for the duration of the days until they run out they don't put them back, a SPA should have many types of fruit, there is no basket to put the rest of the apple in 🍎, I have never entered the swimming pool because it made me feel dirty, here is the truth about the fantastic SPA, an old town, which gives no emotion, and no possibility of activity. What I find excessive is that they charge 25 euros for a mini sized dog, but now from the Dolomites I'm not too surprised, at the end of the holidays at the reception no one apologized for what happened, having slept badly, a sorry or a discount would have been the minimum, however none of the owners showed up. One thing is for sure we will never return.

The Adler in Niederdorf combines tradition with modern elements and scores with excellent, attentive service and high-quality food. The modern winter garden complements the living room, which, thanks to the paneled ceiling and furnishings, allows you to travel back in time, including a feel-good atmosphere. This also extends to the menu, which features interesting and tasty creations such as the two-colored ravioli or the house-marinated salmon trout with cucumber-gin-tonic gel. The service also has the right wine accompaniment ready. We always look forward to spending an evening here.

Domenica 9/2 sera abbiamo cenato in sei, tavola preparata con cura, personale cortese e preparato. Abbiamo preso piatti diversi e tutti sono risultati eccellenti sia come preparazione/cottura che come impiattamento, in cucina conoscono il loro mestiere. Vini eccellenti, hanno una carta dei vini che si integra molto bene con il menù proposto. Prezzo: da sottolineare un eccellente rapporto qualità prezzo. Unico piccolissimo neo, le porzioni di alcuni piatti erano un pò troppo abbondanti togliendo lo spazio per un dolce finale.
