Unreal dining experience. Never had a tasting menu before and it is life changing. The food, wine, and service was absolutely phenomenal. They went above and beyond for our special occasion and would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone when visiting Rome. The most unique dining experience here and we will remember it forever.

My wife and I went on a 5 week anniversary throughout Italy and Greece, and Ad Hoc was hands down our favorite restaurant we went to on the entire trip, maybe even ever in our entire lives. It was recommended by our 5-star hotel, and we are thrilled we went. The atmosphere and ambiance was romantic and intimate, the service was phenomenal, prices were reasonable, and the food was somehow better and better with every course. It was presented so creatively and each bite was better than the next. They even have a full truffle menu! They gave us complimentary sparkling rosé, breadsticks, dessert, and a bag of pasta to go. The service was unlike any other place in Italy. If you are in Rome, you MUST come here- I promise you won’t regret it and you will never forget about it.

Lovely atmosphere, great wine selection and knowledge, warm and prompt service but unfortunately the food was really lacking. Maybe the chef is on holiday in August as other reviewers seemed to like the food? Some dishes were actively bad and we couldn’t eat, other were just mediocre or very dry or over salted. They should really keep it classic and just do the carbonara one way as the classic was the best thing we ate. The ravioli was also good.

Nice and tidy but there is no internet connection inside the restaurant

A very pleasant experience. They gave us several freebies and even a souvenir to take home. I found the price affordable.

The staff and overall service were great. The dishes (cheek and fish of the day) were quite dull to our taste and were not exceptional.

Excellent service and food. But what is amazing is their wine list. You also get excellent pairing advice. A must try when in Rome! I will return
