Ad Hoc In Roma

Beautifully decorated interior and very cozy on first impression. Booked for early dinner reservation. Food: We ordered the tasting menu "sea" and "truffle". The truffle menu was 90% delicious, and also extremely filling. Come with a large appetite. A few of the small bites were okay but not to our taste. The sea menu was not nearly as good as the truffle menu. I would have ordered the land one instead. They also offer you complimentary glass of wine, appetizer, and dessert bites. They even give you a gift of olive oil which was a very nice touch. You could tell they were really trying to win you over, which I appreciated. Service: Impeccable. Staff seemed to take every detail very seriously. Well-trained and very formal. They even email you a small recipe book which is just an extra touch to remember them by. We left stuffed and happy with our experience.

We have dined at the Ad Hoc, numerous times & it's always a fantastic dinning experience. The tasting menu is excellent. Good size portions, great variety & very tasty. The very friendly, proffesional, knowledgeable staff are brilliant, nothing is too much for them. The restaurant hygiene , facilities are excellent . Theirs a lovely, relaxed ambience around. Fantastic decor. Tables are nicely placed around, to give diners their privacy . Every time that we visit Rome, we always book a table for our special meal. Thank you to all the staff/owners for their efforts/ service for making our experience with you fantastic. Highly recommended.

My wife and I walked in and luckily we were able to be accommodated to a table without a reservation. From the second we walked in we were treated excellent. We ended up trying the black truffle tasting menu. It was exceptional! Every course! The service was also top notch. I highly recommend this place. Can’t wait to come back on our next trip to Rome. My new favorite restaurant in Rome. A++

Delicious food, excellent service and very warm atmosphere.

Dining at this Italian restaurant was an absolute treat! The truffle tasting menu was exceptional, every dish was expertly crafted and beautifully presented. The wine pairings were spot-on, enhancing each course perfectly. The service was outstanding - our server was knowledgeable, attentive and genuinely passionate about both the food and wines. This was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had, truly a must-visit when in Rome!

Walked past by chance, looked at the menu, went in - it was a wonderful evening. Service great, great atmosphere and the food was very good. Prices for the quality are absolutely ok. Brilliant wine list. I would be happy to come back on my next visit to Rome.

Highly recommended if you have a strong taste for truffles and wine. Recommended if you are just looking for a good restaurant. This is a restaurant worth your money if you have the language skills to order and communicate smoothly with the staff, and if you want to experience a variety of wines.

Best service and amazing food! Better than Michelin star!!

Ate here tonight! Loved it! This was an experience!! Not just dinner and drinks. We stumbled upon this gem- staying near Spanish steps. Cannot say enough great things about the food, ambiance and service. If you’re a foodie- GO! If not still go, just Let them guide your dining and wine choices with recommendations. It was bougie but laid back
