I was taken to this fantastic restaurant by friends after a long trip. The service was impeccable and the staff super attentive.

I was with friends to celebrate the New Year in historic Matera and we stumbled upon this beautiful place. The staff was fantastic, and my sincerest compliments go especially to the food, which I believe is the true driving force behind this place.

The best stuff in Matera. Traditional food is great, you can try anything, you can’t make a mistake. Music is international, really good choice.

I can't explain the high prices. The place is nothing special, wrapped in plastic curtains and shabby furnishings. The staff is very kind and welcoming, but the service leaves much to be desired. They're too quick to serve; the starters arrived just as we were finishing our appetizers. Considering the high prices on the menu, you'd expect at least more customer service.

The staff is very welcoming, especially Said, who is extremely kind and hospitable. All the dishes, from appetizers to dessert, are of remarkable quality and deliciousness. I highly recommend the orecchiette and turnips with crusco peppers, a truly excellent choice.
The restaurant, located very close to Matera's most iconic attractions, has a charming and well-heated outdoor area and a comfortable indoor area suitable for colder days.
Excellent value for money, especially considering it's located in a tourist area of the city.
A culinary experience worth repeating and highly recommended.

We were 12 people for lunch on December 27th and had a great time with everyone, from chef Samuele to Samid. We had delicious pasta with garlic, oil, breadcrumbs, and crusco peppers.
We also had orecchiette with burrata and a quality roast. But the most important thing was their helpfulness and kindness.

Lunch with friends. Varied menu with intriguing dishes, beautifully presented and served by attentive and qualified staff. The interior is a real gem, it will charm you... the exterior is well-appointed and welcoming.
The quality of the products is excellent, even in the simplest traditional local dishes; the portions are generous.
Suitable for everyone. Only a few steps at the entrance. I recommend it.
