Unfortunately, the craze for gourmets and elaborate but senseless dishes ruins your cooking.
It's a small fish shop that has good fresh fish so why don't you cook in a more relaxed and traditional way without so many sauces and colors that pollute the dishes?

Even I, who am not a lover of seafood, found everything delicious. Definitely worth returning
Una delle migliori cene di pesce degli ultimi anni. Locale pulito e accogliente, staff premuroso, ma soprattutto una cucina interessantissima con ottime materie prime. Già dopo essersi accomodati ci si rende conto del livello del ristorante; pane e grissini fatti in casa (eccezionali), entrèe dello chef, piatti tradizionali della cucina di pesce campana rivisitati e reintetpretati. Abbiamo assaggiato gran crudo e parmigiana di pesce bandiera e i moscardini in crosta di pane come antipasto, tre primi differenti (genovese di tonno sensazionale) e il baccalà in tempura. Tutti piatti eseguiti benissimo, tante tecniche diverse, sempre interessanti. Tutto gustoso e pesce di ottima qualità; Si vede la ricerca e la mano dello chef. Anche i dolci assaggiati ottimi ed un conto assolutamente inferiore rispetto alla qualità e quantità di quello mangiato. Sorprende non sentirne parlare di più di questo posto e non averlo visto strapieno, perché merita davvero. Complimenti allo chef e allo staff per il lavoro, torneremo sicuramente.
Ottima cena a Scafati. Piatti belli, gustosi, ben presentati. Ottima selezione di vini, ottimo servizio, sul conto ho un piccolissimo dubbio, ma nulla di straordinario. Torneremo

We tried this restaurant for lunch and had a great experience. Very attentive service and food with meticulous attention to detail.
Fresh and seasonal raw materials, and finally the desserts are very tasty, very honest value for money.
We highly recommend.

Two weeks ago I would have certainly raised the average but tonight it just dropped from my heart. Let me start by saying that we eat raw seafood and dine in restaurants at least twice a week. Tonight I politely complained (as soon as I tasted it) that the prawns and scampi were not really very fresh, even though they were later credited to us as such and I asked the waiter that for the next few times, we would like the raw ones only if they were particularly fresh and that's it. We then asked to share a first course, which we often do when we want to try several things and I specified clearly "only one generous portion please" but when at the end of dinner we went to the cash register, my partner noticed that there were some on the bill. reported 2. At that point we pay the full amount, I specify to the waiter that I am not interested in spending 1000 for a dinner and it happens very often as long as it is to our liking but that being fooled with 20/25 euros more for a first unsolicited it involves the removal of that place from my agenda, the waiter, almost not listening to us, says "we'll make up for it next time". NEXT TIME???
We are much appreciated and coveted by the restaurateurs/friends we frequent regularly and honestly I prefer to be able to pay the bill without having to check if someone tries to extract a few extra euros from me with some trick or tries to consume some leftovers instead of cooking them or having them do the right thing . For the first time in my life I put my hand back in my pocket, placing the banknotes prepared for the tip.
