Acqua e Fuoco In Desio

Generally good, I've been there several times, including for takeout. The last time I went for lunch (work menu), however, I was served a cold stew. After pointing this out to the waiter, they simply reheated it in the microwave, but the dish had a nasty smell from the grease accumulated in the oven, which was clearly not clean. When it came time to get the bill, to the usual question, "Is everything okay?", I reported the incident and the fact that I had sent the main course back, but the cashier (not one of the owners) simply stamped the entire receipt without offering any discount as a courtesy for the inconvenience. Furthermore, as I often pass by the restaurant, I've recently noticed that every one or two months they close for at least a week straight (not for holidays), and I wonder why. The prices have risen recently, as has happened in all restaurants, but here they were already above average, especially in the evenings.

Dinner with friends, we ate pizza, excellent, digestible, extra large in size

We discovered this restaurant on our way back from vacation. A truly wonderful place. A warm welcome, and they were very attentive to my grandfather who has great difficulty getting around. Despite the language barrier, we had a lovely meal. We'll be back!

The pizza is delicious, very thin and large. Excellent cuisine. The atmosphere is a bit noisy.

We had dinner this evening with my sister. We had a mixed fried fish and a mixed grill, both plentiful, with sides of fried and baked potatoes. The tuna on the grill was a little dry, but still edible. They also make pizza (giant, thin, and crispy), just the way I like it. Maybe next time.

The place is tidy, well-decorated, and immediately welcoming. The staff is friendly and professional. The dishes are generous and well-presented. The pizza is ultra-thin and enormous, personally my favorite over Neapolitan or Milanese. The prices are very fair, perhaps even underestimated for the quality and quantity offered. It's definitely a great place to go, and I'll be returning many times.
