Acqua e Farina In Agrate brianza

I returned yesterday for lunch after almost twenty years and found the same atmosphere as back then. The meat is a sure thing. The location is unique, with a beautiful wooden slatted floor, plenty of space (being a skillfully restored and renovated mill, the warehouse has a very high ceiling), attentive service, and reasonable prices.

Last year I gave it a one-star review, but today they deserve five stars. I returned today and can congratulate them on improving the service. Excellent lunch, and compliments to the waiter Francesco, who was excellent.

The welcome was excellent; I immediately felt welcomed. The wait staff was super professional and helpful. Their friendliness, kindness, and courtesy ensured that the meal was like the best Italian homes. If you want to immerse yourself in the finest Italian culinary experiences, Acqua e Farina is the place for you.

A lovely atmosphere with warm lighting and a comfortable temperature throughout, welcoming and clean. It has a smoking area and a children's play area. Both the food and the pizza are good. They offer a variety of doughs, including legumes and buckwheat. The Bronte pizza is very good. The only drawback is the noise, although it's kept to a minimum in the dining room, protected by a large window that still allows for a view of the entire space. The staff is young, fast, and smiling, sometimes in training. Not exactly cheap.

Excellent service and a lovely, spacious and unique atmosphere. Suitable for large groups. Good, average food. Prices are high.

Excellent Steak House (8 years ago...) Today, March 13, 2026, we returned to this place after eight years. Unfortunately, it's changed a lot. Years ago, I often came here for business dinners or with family, and I was always very satisfied at the end of the meal. Tonight, however, the service was terrible, even though the room was half empty. The waiters, even though there were plenty of them, almost skipped coming to the table to take orders. The wait was interminable. The food isn't what it used to be. My favorite dish was the three beef steaks, tender and cooked to perfection. Tonight I had a tough, sinewy steak that tasted like it came from a discount store. The flavor was good, but it was cooked completely wrong. The potatoes were excellent, and the desserts were too. I finished dinner with a trio of tiramisu, as good as always, but on the smaller side. I don't know what to say, I don't think I'll be back again. It's a shame, I had a great time.

I went to Acqua e Farina in Agrate with a colleague and we were truly satisfied. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff kind and attentive. I ordered the tagliata, which was very tender and cooked just right, accompanied by a second helping of pumpkin, which was equally good. My colleague instead chose a cold appetizer: salmon, a generous dish and very good. To finish, we shared a soft-serve cake... that too was delicious, a good portion, and not the typical frozen cake. The place is very large and unique, with fast service and attentive waiters. I'll be back!
