05/05/2025: Venture away from the more touristy areas to a delightful restaurant on the other side of the river. It is well worth the cab ride and nestled in a neighborhood. Food was excellent and we enjoyed the florentine steak, appetizers, and two sides. Our husbands enjoyed discussing and picking wine to have with dinner and the price for excellent Italian red was very reasonable. Highly recommend and it lives up to the review by Conde Nest and other travelers. Reservations are made on the website directly and must be guaranteed with a credit card

28/05/2025: They serve sandwiches and pizzas that they make themselves, and since it's a bakery, the prices are among the best in all of Florence.
27/05/2025: This place is fantastic. They are located in a parallel street of the main walking street. It is still touristy - but what isn’t? You are in Florence. However, this place still carries the authentic charms of an Italian bakery. We stopped after visiting the Uffizi. The sandwiches here are huge and pretty cheap. One sandwich is enough for two or even three people. Best thing (apart from the lovely staff): they serve free wine!!!
