Located in a charming little square in the heart of Garbatella. A good glass of wine and excellent porchettato pork. The carbonara is good and plentiful. Perhaps lacking a bit of the kick of the guanciale, but still a good one. A place definitely worth trying.

The restaurant overlooks a charming little square in the Garbatella neighborhood. (It's advisable to arrive well in advance for meals, as parking in the area is difficult.) It has a simple, modern interior and a spacious outdoor area where you can dine. The menu offers traditional Roman dishes, some with pleasantly reinterpreted versions, but not only. It's difficult to recommend just a few, as they're all of a high standard and beautifully presented. The wine list is well-stocked. The wait staff is friendly and helpful. The quality-price ratio is excellent.

18/10/2025: We were there tonight and had a wonderful time. We tried both meat and seafood appetizers, both rich and delicious. We recommend their eggplant, it's among the best we've ever had, truly unique. The first courses are delicious and the portions are generous. The carbonara is excellent (it's hard to find places that still make it properly), and the sour cherry tartlet is also excellent. The atmosphere is quiet, pleasant, and relaxing. The service is fast, and the waiter is extremely knowledgeable and professional. The owner is very friendly. Highly recommended restaurant in Genzano.
